Read some helpful reviews of Towne Storage at 50 Pacific Avenue, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

Update: 9/2025. This place is terrible with communication. We got stuck with our cat inside the gated area for over 45 minutes. We called the number, and the office hours number with no answers. 2 other people were also stuck and no one ever came to help. We got out through someone else. 7/2025: Brittaney was amazing. She worked with us after 6 to get a new unit and was open with pricing and options. Appreciate her great service and kindness! The only thing is she didn’t discuss were some one-time fees so next time please just be transparent. ... Read more

Gate is constantly left open for weeks all night and all hours for anyone to come after being told I will have secured lock gate storage after 9 pm. They have raised my rent yet failed to provide security. Last time the gate was actually shut it did not work so could not get work equipment needed for that day. Today I pull up to a sign over the key pad to get my work equipment so i can leave town tonight saying I need to down load an app to get in... so I did and it tells me I am not a authorized user so once again will lose over $500 due to customer care neglect. A simple email notice or something would be appropriate. You have clients with work equipment in there we depend on and you assure us we have access... make it right and I will remove the review. ... Overall it was fine. Staff was very helpful, location was convenient. They had a promo on their website that got me to call and then when I did, they said they weren’t running it anymore and needed to get it off the site. A little unprofessional. My unit was always very dusty. I had to wipe down everything when I moved out. It was caked in dirt. I know some dust is to be expected, but my stuff was covered. I also saw a rodent bait trap out. Not encouraging. Lastly, there were multiple times that I showed up and the gate was wide open on a day the office was closed. They said the key pad was down. Doesn’t inspire confidence in the security when the gate is just left wide open and anyone can come and go. It’s definitely serviceable and the staff was friendly and helpful, but it wasn’t anything impressive. I don’t think I would return to this location. ... Read more

Well it's kinda sad really. I really like my storage unit.and the guy in the office is as nice as can be, But like everything else price just keeps going up. It seems like every 6mo they raise the rent. And now it to the point I can't afford it. I've already had 2 friends move out. And now my bedroom will be my storage unit..... ... Read more

This place is nice & quiet, staff is friendly & courteous you can buy boxes/buble wrapping/tape & padlocks inside the office. You can only enter with a code & 2 get out you have to do the same. I like this place but cannot reach the 5 stars due to some inconveniences: If you coming from Center St there is a weight limit for trucks so you cannot drive a class B truck & just enter from the shortest distance to this place you will get ticketed if U do so instead you have to come from the back roads so plan carefully if driving a big moving truck. There are no electrical outlets to power anything inside your storage unit not even a lamp light to iluminate inside when visiting late. Entrance is ok but is tight to turn with a wide pickup truck I do not recommend to enter with a big box truck, storage units are not insulated nor climate controlled so if you have equipment that is sensitive to sudden changes of temperature & moisture don't store it here. ... Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Towne Storage - 50 Pacific Avenue include the following amenities: Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Truck Rentals, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, First Floor Access, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 420 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Towne Storage - 50 Pacific Avenue start from $35 and can go up to $281 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
