We’ve been storing here for about a year and moved to a larger unif if recently it was a new gentleman that had helped us and I told my husband I bet our gate code won’t work when we come back… Sure enough it didn’t but I went into the office it was a great conversation and he was able to get it fixed. Also out of all our time storing here this is only 2 nd or 3rd time I’ve ever had to talk to the people on site and I have no complaints they were great every time. ... Read more

I've been a tenant for almost a year. I called around and they have the best rates in this area. Also, I have talked to many people who rent here and they told me that they where at other storage places and the rent was raised more than $80 after less then 6 months. So, they came here. Since coming here they have upgraded their security a great deal. One thing they did was put in a new camera system that covers everything. It makes me feel secure that no one can get into my unit without being recorded or recorded going in or out of the premise's. Everyone from Owners, management and employee's are kind, friendly and helpful. ... Read more

My parents stored their belongings here while they were waiting for their new home to be built. They went to check on their things a few months ago and found that their keys no longer worked on their locks. When they went to talk to management, they mentioned that they had put new locks on, because the ones that were on there were either cut or missing. When my parents gained entry to their units they found they had indeed been robbed. Almost all of my father's tools were taken, thousands of dollars worth in fact, among other things like gas powered scooters and similar items. Management instantly went on the defensive claiming no liability etc. etc. While it is understood that they are not liable for the stolen belongings, they should have let my parents know there had been a break-in or at least that they had to put new locks on. Management was extremely rude and defensive about the entire situation to the point where we are not sure it wasn't them. Minimal security, poor customer service, shady business dealings. Be very careful about storing your possessions here, this place is anything but safe and secure. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 40 to 300 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Extra Space Storage - 426 North 2000 West start from $45 and can go up to $237 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
