Read some helpful reviews of Go Store It at 851 East Jefferson Pike, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

Apparently they can jack the rent from 88 a month to 235 and expect me to remain a customer? My mother passed away recently and was only using it to move her stuff from Kentucky to my house which I rented it in November...Thankfully I havent even moved the big items so I will be canceling this and finding another storage unit that will hopefully not raise the rent almost 3 times as much. Hope this doesnt happen to everyone! ... Read more

First of no one works here so you can only call someone online. The entrance to the property always has mud at it so you have to drive through it. My storage unit didn’t have any lighting and was dirty. Also smelt really bad. ... Read more

I had an uncovered parking spot for about 6 months. They had just switched to outsourcingthe office when i started to rent. The spot was fine, but within the 6 months I had multiple times I couldn't get in the gate and I was on hold with the call center for 15 plus minutes. i also had my monthly rates go up 2 times in 6 months and was not told about it. I had to call both times after I saw they charged me more than usual, and only got told "that's how storage units work". ... Read more

Rented a unit, then was unable to use it. Contacted them to ask them to close the account so they could rent to someone else. Never did. They called me the next month to ask why it wasn't used, and I told them again to close it out. They agreed to a refund for the month I was charged after I had already asked them to close it. Called after refund never showed, promised refund again. Never got it. Do not recommend! ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Go Store It - 851 East Jefferson Pike include the following amenities: Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, First Floor Access, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 50 to 900 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Go Store It - 851 East Jefferson Pike start from $34 and can go up to $292 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
