Read some helpful reviews of Storage Sense at 1151 North Main Street, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

I have rented three or four times, my stuff when I move and for my yard sale. I really like that nobody can come in without a code. You don’t have worries about someone breaking in. I just love it, even when I have to go little far than before. ... Read more

I got locked in the fenced.in area one rainy dark night around 8:30 p.m.. The gate would not open for me. I tried three or four phone numbers to storage sense but only got recordings. After about an hour of calling all the numbers I could find for storagesense I finally got to talk to a human but she had my location wrong. Long story short she tried to use the computer to get the gate open and it didn't work mind you I'm standing out in the rain with a flashlight "thank goodness I had one" trying to shake this gate open. Didn't work!!! I'm soaking wet now and cold. Two people walk by the outside gate and I even had them punch my code in, and because it was jammed it wouldn't open. If I would have been in my Jeep Wrangler I would have plowed right through it!!!!! Anyway she gave me the combination to the lock and chain that was on the emergency gate. It was very hard trying to hold the phone and talk to her, hold the flashlight, and trying to open the combination lock, with it dark and pouring down rain. Anyway I got it but the gate fell off the hinges. But I drove out into the grass the only place I could go almost got stuck in the mud then had to jump a curve, bottomed out my little Toyota Corolla car. Thought I knocked a hole in the gas tank but I didn't but it wasn't very pretty and I was very angry by now. I should have left the gate laying on the ground but I got out put it back on the hinge and put the chain and lock back on. And I told storagesense about it and they don't care. they didn't even give me a.half price month. Don't rent from them. They have bad lighting there you can't see nothing at night and you can't ever get a hold of a real human when you need someone. I will never ever rent from them I don't know if it's all of them or just Mt. Pleasant!!!!!!? ... Read more

Had a little issue getting two twin box springs out by end of the month however we were able to remove from storage the very next day. Multiple calls and no response when trying to dispute charges for another month. ... Read more

Absolutely horrible experience. Stored with this company for nearly 4 years at an outrageous rate and frequently increased fees, had items stolen from my unit, company denied any wrongdoing. Worst experience.. fell on hard times, unable to pay. Practically begged to please just let me have my pictures but .. no, we need the money. Spent thousands with them over the years and couldn’t even get the only pictures I have of my son as a baby .. just lots of personal things. Wanted $700+ dollars knowing I was in straits. Just really disappointed that these people can be so cruel. I understand I owed. I don’t dismiss my responsibility. Just a little sincere compassion . Sadly, you won’t find that here. I would not recommend not just because of my experience with not allowing me to get my pictures but because the people who work the grounds steal from the units. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Storage Sense - 1151 North Main Street include the following amenities: Drive-Up Access, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Unstaffed Location, Kiosk Available, Credit Cards Accepted, First Floor Access and Online Payment. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 50 to 250 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Storage Sense - 1151 North Main Street start from $34 and can go up to $129 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
