Gated storage facility with locks available for purchase! My unit was very clean and conveniently located near the door. After experiencing an emergency situation the manager Gerald made my storage experience simple and assuring. He was very helpful and knowledgeable about the units and size needed. I was able to add my lock to my bill due to limited funds the day of move in. I downloaded the app and paid directly on there. Staff was very friendly and efficient. Unfortunately there was an issue with the space I was assigned. Was supposed to have received a map as an email attachment, not attached. The staff was unable to find a map on her computer to print. I wish there was a negative star… the last 4 months dealing with this storage facility has been hell plus no one calls you back this has been a total nightmare. I have had my unit rained in, the gate has been broken since November 2024 and they leave the gate wide open at night plus the back doors to the inside remain open. I met other tenants that said they are frustrated and they don’t feel their stuff is secure. I do not feel safe when i am there plus they mentioned breakins. I do not have access to a unit that they deduct payment every month. They di jot return calls, the people in the office has the most non-chalant attitude about not having access to storage that you pay for. Currently they have the same excess about the gate not being fixed plus today i was told i had to park in the front by the office, go in and search for a cart, return back to my car up front and unload by belongings, go back through the office and lug my belongings all the way ti the back where my unit is and return through the office all while wearing heels since i had to hurry to get in before they left for the day. The lady at the office told me the other day “ ion care what go on because I'm outta here at 5 and the gate will be closed” wow.. os that customer service? Im still baffled after several calls and messages to corporate, non-one has returned my call and they the nerve to close my complaint because an imaginary manager called me ?? This location is convenient but at this point I’m searching for another storage company. I am placing this on all platforms to show the Stage road location in Memphis, Tennessee is a security risk. This is probably one of the best self storage locations to be found. I came in during the pandemic and add a large 1BR quantity of furniture and other items in storage here for last 2yrs. It’s always clean, with no sign of rodents or other undesirables. The customer service has always been friendly and professional. Gerald has been there and has never failed me with price, recommendations, or the facility.
