The manager called me and told me that my unit was broken into. She locked it up for me and we went to my unit together. I found that I had not locked it up from the day before. Nothing was missing and all I could do was to hug her and tell her I loved her. I am so much at peace. I found my lock. It could have been so much worse. I love her. ???? Scott Out! ... Read more

Micheal Rabby was terrible. He lied to my sister about her storage unit saying it was broke into when it wasn't. He tried to tell her she only had one unit when in fact she has two. He also changed the lock on her unit when he shouldn't have which locked and kept her out and prevented her from being able to getvery important sentimental family heirlooms out of it that she needed for her daughter's birthday. He is extremely unprofessional and rude and hateful. He literally almost made her have a mental breakdown hyperventilating and everything. It was terrible and could have all been prevented if Michael Rabby had not mistreated her and cause so much distress and heartache. ... Read more

They were very helpful. I was able to make and pay for my unit over the phone. When I went in to speak with Christy she was very nice and talk me though everything. I told my daughter right there in the office that they were the best storage unit I could find and my daughter going to get a unit tomorrow for herself. I highly recommend. Great place, great price, great workers. They will always get 5 stars . And I will always use this storage unit when I need to. Thank you so much for the great service. ... Read more

Absolutely would not recommend. There is hardly anyone ever working and the one lady that lives in there that we have seen so far is very rude. This place is rat infested too so it’s probably better to just store your stuff outside than to pay for one of their units. ... Read more

People are friendly and the lot is always clean. I do however not like the fact that every 90 days or so they go up on the price. I'll be checking into why I can rent a building online for a much lower price that what I'm having to pay monthly. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at iStorage - 4811 Central Avenue Pike include the following amenities: 24 hour access, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 50 to 500 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by iStorage - 4811 Central Avenue Pike start from $64 and can go up to $327 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
