Read some helpful reviews of KO Storage at 1328 West Bullrun Valley Drive, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

Dealing with this storage company has been an absolute nightmare, and my interaction with Lance was the worst part of it. He was condescending, dismissive, and completely unhelpful on the phone, speaking to me like I was an inconvenience rather than a paying customer. Instead of listening to my concerns or trying to resolve the issue, he brushed me off and acted as though my frustration wasn’t justified. Customer service like this is unacceptable, especially when you’re trusting a company with your personal belongings. On top of that, the company charged me over $100 in late fees despite the fact that I made my payments on time. I provided proof and tried to get clarification, but they showed no interest in correcting their mistake. It feels like they’re more focused on squeezing extra money out of customers than being honest or fair. Between the rude treatment and the questionable billing practices, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere if you want a company that values integrity and basic respect. ... Read more

Pricing was great and I was very excited to move in. But when I found out I couldn’t work on my dirt bike in the unit it was too late. Having breached my 72 hrs to be able to get a refund per contract I was left with almost $100 less in my pocket and a disappointment. Seems that the “customer service department” is just based out of a foreign call center, not even the human that is probably living in the attached apartment. Wouldn’t recommend unless you absolutely have to. There’s better. ... Read more

I called in very upset. The billing seem to be a lot higher than it should be when Victoria answered the phone. She assured me that she would do everything that she could to assist me. She only resolved my issue, but because of her demeanor and her professionalism and solving my problem, I’m renting another space… ... Read more

Construction equipment blocking my access to my storage unit . The entire driveway to any storage unit is tore up due to Construction. Will not return calls ..we can't access our unit to get to. The Construction company isn't doing nothing but blocking and not finishing they're job. ... Read more

After raising the rates on the storage units we wanted to cancel, but we have been calling for 2 days, and all they do is hang up. Do not recommend this place. Major management issues here and a hassle to get the gate code to work. The person that works at the storage doesn't even answer the phone and doesn't do their job at all. Better off finding a different storage than this place. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at KO Storage - 1328 West Bullrun Valley Drive include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Drive-Up Access, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Unstaffed Location, Parking and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 50 to 300 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by KO Storage - 1328 West Bullrun Valley Drive start from $40 and can go up to $160 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
