So many people break into these storages. They do nothing about it. She actually thinks it's funny, I have witnessed plenty and gone through a lot there If you do not pay in cash watch your bank account they take several payments without you noticing right away. I do not recommend store nlock. There are so many better ones that even cheaper and nicer and respect you. And don't steel from you.. gates hardly ever work. Codes hardly ever work. It's always something in that place. And they do not care if you get robbed there. I was not robbed there but I witnessed many that were and the reaction from there. Take heed before you check out any other places. You just might wind up regretting it. Your free choice. ... Read more

CHECK YOUR UNIT IF YOU HAVE ONE AT THIS PLACE !!!! Been doing business here for years but my building was robbed ! Completely emptied and was told there was other units broken into. Apparently this happened months ago and I was never informed but they kept taking my money. I feel as I've been robbed twice now ! Very disappointed. IN RESPONSE TO YOUR REPLY... SHOULDN'T YOU AS THE OWNER, INFORMED PEOPLE OF A BREAK IN ??? THE POLICE CERTAINLY THOUGHT YOU SHOULD HAVE. THEY EVEN SAID IT WAS BAD BUSINESS. IF YOU HAD ALL OF YOUR THINGS STOLEN YOU WOULD UNDERSTAND. IT'S OK THOUGH, YOU GO ON AND TELL YOURSELF YOU DID THE RIGHT THING. I'VE ACCEPTED IT AS A LOSS NOW AND WANT ABSOLUTELY NOTHING ELSE TO DO WITH ANY STORAGE PLACE NOW. ... Read more

Friendly owners and great prices. They are usually full. I read the one comment and assume they are waiting for someone to get their things before they clear it out. I tented from them for quite a while and the saw them have to do this because of non payment. It has to go through the courts like an eviction. But if you are lucky to get in, they are wonderful. I never felt uncomfortable when other renters were there. Never anything shady. ... Read more

I needed a place to store my stuff because my first option fell through and a storage unit was my last option. I called and asked if i could get one today. The woman on the phone had nothing to say but "why are you waiting til the last day to do this" as if i had been planning on my first choice falling through. She had a horrible attitude towards me and I will never use this company. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Stor-N-Lock Mini Warehouse - 748 East 15th Street include the following amenities: Drive-Up Access, Onsite Manager, Security Camera, Gate and Parking. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
