Whoever the new lady is working there is awful! She just wants to be combative with you and talks over you, as well. It is as if her sole mission is to argue and purposefully cause confusion to try and bring her point across. Never in my life have I been spoken to by someone that’s supposed to be a “professional” the way this lady to spoke to me. Prior to this new lady, my experience with Karen was always great and friendly. I wish they’d bring her back; but be warned, if you decide to rent with this company, the “new management” will talk to you ruthlessly. Idk about you, but that’s not somewhere I’d want to take my busy. They’ve also gone up in prices, too. I think they are taking advantage of being located in a military town. Their rates are ridiculous! ... Read more

When I first arrived a few weeks ago the storage unit was clean and the lock was instead. I was fortunate to rent the one with the attic. I called the office to get more information on registration. Karen was extremely helpful. She was very sweet and comforting. I can’t explain it with works. I recently broke up with my boyfriend in the middle of closing on a home. I was devastated, but speaking with her calmed me down and made me feel like everything will be okay. Fast forward, yesterday I finally left the toxic environment I was in. I had movers come and all that. The movers didn’t arrive until 11:30 PM. The gates closed at 10 PM. I was hysterically crying I didn’t know what to do or where to put my things. I then remembered Karen gave me her contact information. Let me tell you, I called Karen and explained the situation. Storm and all, she came down and opened the gate for us. I will forever be grateful. She is amazing. I would’ve been on the street with all of my belongings. She honestly has given me hope. I could do this on my own. Her sweet soothing voice and demeanor made be feel better. I was fortunate to bump into her this morning and had a pleasure to meet Max (doggy). Through all of this traumatic situation I am dealing with I am grateful that I chose this location and I am grateful for Karen. From the bottom of my heart, thank you Karen. You didn’t have to do what you did for me last night in the middle of a storm and tornado watch. I appreciate you very much. I recommend this place 100%. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at MyPlace Self Storage - 178 Jack Miller Blvd include the following amenities: Drive-Up Access, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 40 to 200 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by MyPlace Self Storage - 178 Jack Miller Blvd start from $46 and can go up to $133 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
