This place is a joke!! When it was Bristol Mini storage, it was a very nice place but when Stor Safe took it over, it went down hill fast!! They don't even have a person in Bristol to talk to or work with. I tried for a month to get a hold of someone with no avail!! I even went by the facility the day after Thanksgiving to make a payment only to find out that there is NOBODY there to deal with!! When I finally did get a hold of someone, they informed me I owed way more than the contract I signed when I rented the unit. My monthly rate was $80 a month. Unfortunately, I got a little behind on my rent and when I tried to get it caught up, I couldn't get a hold of anybody. I sent email, and tried calling again, to no avail. When I finally did get a hold of someone, they informed me I owed way more than I actually owed. They tacked renter's insurance on without notifying me of their policies!! I never received notification of any changes in policy or rates and now I owe more than I can afford. Everything in that unit is priceless to me but on Christmas day they call me to inform me that there is a lien on my unit and they are going to sell my belongings. Very unprofessional company that doesn't even have someone here to deal with!! They are owned and operated by an out of state company. I would not recommend trusting your belongings to this storage company!! ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Bristol Mini Storage - 1201 Bluff City Hwy include the following amenities: Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Security Camera, Gate, Parking and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 600 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Bristol Mini Storage - 1201 Bluff City Hwy start from $44 and can go up to $398 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
