I would give 10 stars if I could. Called them with an emergency and needing storage in 10 minutes. The problem: I was an hour away from the site. They got the space rented for me and entrance set up for the person I had dropping off goods in the 10 minutes I had. Truly remarkable service! ... Read more

Everyone was very nice and helpful. I had a unit in the Vermilion location where I stored my boat. I waited to late last year so I took what I could get as a unit. When I got the boat out I had to manually maneuver it because the fence was too close for to get it out with my truck. I called to ask if I could switch units to a new one. With no problem I was able to. However the door on the new unit was too small and I could not get my boat threw it. I also check out the units in Elk Point and the doors also were too small and the buildings are too close together for what I really need. If all i had was furniture and boxes these units would be great. But I need one to fit my boat. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at KO Storage - 812 Bower Street include the following amenities: Drive-Up Access, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 100 to 300 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by KO Storage - 812 Bower Street start from $50 and can go up to $130 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
