If you're looking for a storage facility that offers a unique, immersive experience in filth and rodent-based wildlife observation, then look no further! This place is a goldmine of grime and "natural" charm—so much so, you might forget you're storing your stuff and think you've signed up for a new reality show called "Survivor: Storage Unit Edition." The cleanliness? Let's just say it’s "rustic," in the sense that it hasn't seen a broom or mop since the Reagan administration. My belongings weren’t just “stored”—they were curated with layers of dust, mildew, and the occasional rodent feces sprinkled on top for that “lived-in” vibe. If you wanted a perfect blend of vintage dirt, damp smells, and a welcoming committee of rodents, this is the place for you. Oh, and don't worry about a lack of critters. The rodents are so well-established that they practically have their own lease agreements. I’m pretty sure they were watching me from behind the boxes, offering suggestions on where to stash my furniture. If you're not into DIY pest control, this place is definitely not for you. (Unless, of course, you want a few new furry friends.) In summary, if you're looking for a storage facility with the pristine cleanliness of a post-apocalyptic wasteland and a genuine homage to the fine art of neglect, this is your spot. Otherwise, steer clear, and maybe consider renting a cave. At least the bats probably have better hygiene. Check out the attached pictures for proof of the conditions. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Public Storage - 1648 Airport Blvd include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, Elevators, First Floor Access and Online Payment. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 50 to 450 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Public Storage - 1648 Airport Blvd start from $62 and can go up to $219 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
