My gate code did not work when I arrived at the storage location. Unit itself had a broken door and the floor was thilthy. Although “Taylor” could not provide a solution I was eventually transferred to live help. I had to wait over 15 minutes but the live agent was VERY understanding. He got me a new gate code and a different (functioning) unit. He was extremely helpful and courteous. I was eventually able to unload my items for storage and lock the unit successfully. ... This place is horrible security and communication I had a locker broken into over a month ago and wasn’t contacted until a month later by the POLICE both the police and storage company had this on camera and never let me know… they don’t care to communicate with me or make it right I’m out of 1000s of dollars and still seem not care ... They cut my lock off TWICE with no explanation. I even bought my own lock which they cut off not even a week after i got it. They said they would reimburse us for the lock we bought but they never did. Gate was never locked and things were stolen out of my unit. Do not use this storage company. You’re honestly safer leaving your belongings on the side of the road than in their storage units. ... Read more

If you value your belongings do not put them here. The gate has been broken for 6 months. I’ve called, my wife has called and I’ve talked to others that have called. Still it has not been fixed. On top of the gate issue there have been numerous break ins. The security cameras do not work or either no one is looking at them. I know that for a fact. I parked down the street walk through an open gate, wondered around, finally went in my unit and walked out of the gate with 2 chainsaws. ... Read more

Rented a unit, within 2 Months, saw price increase. Unit that was issued was not in great shape and door was bent, so it was difficult to get open. Was told everything was secure and I left my things there for several months, only to get a call today that my lock was not secured properly and they replaced it. I've only been to the facility twice, once for initial move in and once to drop off a few more things. I always re-secured the lock. I stopped by today to check on things since they said a new lock was issued and my entire unit was trashed - someone went through all my bins and boxed and threw things everywhere. And some more valuable items were stolen. Reached out to facility and was just told to file a report with local police or they couldnt investigate ---- you should have gates secure and video footage so that this does not happen. Gate was also wide open when I stopped by today and no one would answer phone when I tried to talk to someone. ... Read more

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 50 to 250 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
