Do NOT rent here!!! This is likely the WORST storage provider in the entire CSRA. Days into the aftermath of Hurricane Helene, the manager refused to allow their customers to access their units and get to their property. Multiple customers needed to access their generators, tools, etc. but because the manager didn’t want to work during their normal working hours, she ignored numerous pleas for help from her customers. Her excuse was that she had been advised not to be on the roads. This was TWO DAYS after the storm, mind you. The government asked people not to be out sight seeing but business critical employees were exempt from that guidance. She, simply didn’t want to work. I am in the process of filing a Class Action with their other customers to cover the losses incurred after the storm resulting from not being able to access their property. Please join me. ... I reserved a Uhaul truck here for mobile after hours pickup. When I arrived to pick it up, I couldn’t because Nathan’s self storage had not assigned a truck to my reservation so I couldn’t pick it up. I called Uhaul support and they confirmed that I had done everything correctly but Nathan’s storage had failed to put the information into their system correctly so I was left without a truck. I also tried calling the emergency after hours number on their door and it’s a person who doesn’t even work there anymore. Uhaul was able to find me a new truck that was in north Augusta so I had to drive further and spend more money on gas/the per mile fee. I highly recommend not using Nathan’s self storage for Uhaul reservations. ... Read more

I would warn any one to not store anything at this facility. i have had two Trailers stolen from this facility. the management does not even keep up with who comes and goes. The security is the worst that i have ever seen. the trailers had to be stolen by someone that has access to the gate to enable them to pull the trailers from thee area and the management can't even look at video to see who it was. they say that the system rewrites after a few days. i suggest that if you have a parked vehicle to get it moved to a new storage facility. kept these two trailers at another facility since 2014 and nothing was ever bothered! ... The is an outdoor, not climate-controlled, storage unit facility. The price was right and the location was decent. I moved my stuff from Florida using a 27-foot U-haul truck that performed perfectly when I arrived at the facility on November 30th. I did line my 20 x 10 unit with Visqueen and made sure all my fabric furniture was wrapped in plastic. I also placed desiccant crystal bags throughout the unit because it was not climate controlled, I sprayed the unit and placed mouse poison as a precautionary step and I bought the insurance. When I returned in March everything was as it was and when I moved out of the unit my stuff was all in good shape without bug or mouse infiltration. The security at this site was very good. The only thing that can be an issue for some would be the rolling hills to get to your unit and the spacing between the unit buildings. For me, the money I saved was worth it the little extra effort. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Nathan-s Self Storage - 11 DeMedicis Blvd include the following amenities: Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Truck Rentals, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking and Online Payment. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
