My child is a student at Clemson University, this location was great only 20 minutes away and climate controlled. The management was easy to work with, the facility was easy in close to our unit. Would highly recommend it ... Read more

When dealt with an initial bad experience, Angel and her team stepped in and made the situation better. When I first arrived, I had confirmed the day before (Friday) that the temp lock was removed. I arrived at 5:37PM on Saturday, my unit was locked, and the offices were closed. I called but there are no after hours support. Second thing to know, the storage dimensions are not correct on the website. The depth of the spots are more like 27' 2" and not 28'. The reason this is important is my boat w/ trailer is 27 1/2 feet. Also, the opening is not 12'. It is more like 10.5". There was a storm coming in and I had nowhere else to put my boat so I had to maneuver my boat in, had less than 3" on each side. Then once backed in, I had to use basic hand tools to unbolt the trailer coupler in order to close the door. This was in 100 degree heat. The units are very nice, plywood sides and back instead of chain link, and even have power. It would have been perfect if the dimensions were true. I am not blaming Angel and her team, as they were great. She was very pleasant and was sympathetic. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Flex Storage - 3376 Walhalla Hwy include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Unstaffed Location, Parking, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 50 to 672 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Flex Storage - 3376 Walhalla Hwy start from $47 and can go up to $231 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
