Read some helpful reviews of Storage Rentals of America at 1005 Arbor Keats Drive, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

I had a unit here for less than a month. Every time I went, I had to call because the door or the code didn't work. I went on Christmas morning, to get my grandkids gifts, and the door didn't work. I had to wait until the day after Christmas and the manager had to call a locksmith, because she couldn't get the door open either. I do not recommend this place! ... Read more

I rented a storage space and once we got everything out of our attic we realized we needed a larger unit. The representative was so nice and switched my storage unit very quickly so we were able to get moved in that day. Very satisfied with their customer service representatives. ... Read more

I tried the Simpsonville Controlled Climate location. Hated it. Changed my mind even before sealing the deal but was told I couldn't go look at it until paying. So fine I paid admin fees to go look. The next morning I cancelled. The property manager sent me to look at the Simpsonville Arbor Keats location. My wife said it looked smaller. I said it shouldn't be. Luckily I had a tape measure with me and measured it and sure enough it was just over 18ft deep for a 10x20. My unit I have elsewhere is just 2 inches shy of 20ft deep. The price I was quoted the night I was given a temporary gate access code was $165 a month. $20 more than what I am paying the company I was already with for like I said, more square footage. I tell them I would look at it and let them know the following morning. The next morning I called and said sure I guess we will take it. The property manager said how much were you quoted. I told her what she had told me the night before to only be told the prices increased overnight to almost $25 more. They couldn't honor the quoted price. So they gave me the first month free and I used it to hold a few boxes until I could measure my current unit to see if it was in fact bigger. Sure enough the unit I already had with another company was bigger, and cheaper. I also had told the property manager the light was out next to my unit, could they fix it or replace the bulb within 24 hours. She said she would have someone look at it but it may not be that fast. They would get someone to fix it. Weeks later it still wasn't fixed. That same night we cleaned out our stuff from the Storage Rentals of America Arbor Keats unit and cleaned up the trash. We then shut the door and drove off. They haven't even noticed I packed it up and left. Now the company I am with in Greenwood which is not a Storage Rentals of America unit does daily rounds to make sure units are securely locked. I had forgotten and locked my door in the open position in Greenwood. Immediately after noticing they called me. So that tells me since Storage Rentals of America at Arbor Keats hasn't even noticed that my locks been removed for a week or so from the door, and is still sending me invoices for the unit, they don't even check on their units. I am glad I got my stuff out of this company's unit and left my stuff at my unit in Greenwood. Storage Rentals of America is all about the money and don't care if the units are up to par or not. ... Online signing process had to be repeated. So many broken things at these facilities. I have zero working outside lights at night & even for a guy it’s scary sometimes. It might be cheaper but you definitely get cheap service. Oh, & I kept getting emails to “finish signing up” for my unit. Hello, I already did 2 days before that. My other place is way better maintained! ... Read more

I only rented from the Mauldin location for a few months while I was transitioning from one state to another but when it was time for me to move and get all of my stuff out I noticed that a good half of my stuff was gone. All of my stuff from my apartment was no longer there. I am so glad that I had taken a before picture of when I had first put in my stuff in to show to the property manager and to the police. I am glad I remained pretty positive throughout the whole situation and I’m glad that I was able to report what happened and get everything straightened out and have the police come to take pictures. I just hope that everything goes smoothly and I am able to get compensated from what was stolen. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Storage Rentals of America - 1005 Arbor Keats Drive include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Truck Rentals, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Unstaffed Location, Kiosk Available, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, Keyless Unit Access, First Floor Access, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 50 to 300 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Storage Rentals of America - 1005 Arbor Keats Drive start from $14 and can go up to $181 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
