This place has lousey service This no cash theory is ridiculous. I am wondering is price increase is going to be a normal thing. I requested to talk to the owner. I feel slightly upset I am a on time PAYING CUSTOMER this should be a right. The people of St. Stephen are mostly retired a rate increase is more feasible every two years not every year. ... I had this unit for 10 years before it was switched to tigers eye. I had no issues until then. When they switched, i set up an online account, which still doesnt give me access. When i call yo make payments, i never get a callback. I called before my due date in december and no one answered. I left a messageto call back and no one did. After several attempts, i finally got someone, but i was charged a late fee because it was after 5 days. Why am i charged a late fee because no one would respond to my attempts to pay on time! This prompted my to end my contract and move out. I had no problem with st stephens storage, but this new company is not professional! ... Read more

I had household items in unit #18 for approx. 8 months. Everything was taken out of storage yesterday. Almost all of my furniture had mold growing on it, including my expensive king-size mattress. I contacted St. Stephen storage (now Tigers eye storage) and they were unapologetic. They told me that they were not responsible for the damages and that I should check and see if my homeowners insurance would cover it. They were taking no responsibility for the mold, even though once my possessions we're removed, I found mold covering all three of the walls almost from the floor to the ceiling. I just wanted to warn innocent people about this place. They didn't seem the least bit concerned that most of my furniture was ruined. I would never use this facility again or do business with the owners. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Tigers Eye Self Storage - 4007 State Road include the following amenities: Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Security Camera, Gate, Parking and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
