Read some helpful reviews of Public Storage at 5508 North Rhett Avenue, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

I want to take a moment to recognize SHAY for the extraordinary professionalism, empathy, and responsiveness she has shown over the past couldn’t help . During a very stressful and difficult personal situation, she went above and beyond to communicate clearly, respond quickly, and work with me in every way possible. What stood out most was not just her efficiency, but her genuine humanity. She treated me with respect, patience, and kindness at a time when that truly mattered. It is rare to encounter someone who balances firm professionalism with such empathy and understanding. Her efforts did not go unnoticed, and I hope her leadership knows what an asset she is to this business. People like her make a lasting impression, and I am deeply grateful for the way she handled everything. Thank you for having someone of her caliber representing your company ... Read more

Came into the store looking for a unit to store equipment for my business and I was greeted by a lovely associate by the name of Awny. He was very helpful and informative. He gave me a breakdown of how public storage works and what all it includes. Although I'm not ready to move in at this time, he made it a pleasurable experience and I look forward to using public storage in the near future. ... Read more

Honestly I wanted to like this location because it’s so convenient - but it’s not worth it. There are never any dollies, the doors are often broken so you can’t even get in, and no one answers the phone or gets back to you via the “on call” number when this happens - I ended up having to pay an extra day on a rental truck when this happened on my move in day. The AC/climate control is pretty laughable, at least on the 3rd floor. Then BONUS! One month after moving in, they increased my bill by 40%. ... Read more

I hope not to be a customer or long ready to find a home but I will be forever grateful I recommend the public storage on North Rhett with Miss Yolanda to everyone. Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Public Storage - 5508 North Rhett Avenue include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, 24 hour access, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, Elevators, First Floor Access, Multi-Level Storage, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 200 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Public Storage - 5508 North Rhett Avenue start from $50 and can go up to $313 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
