Rented a 10x20 climate controlled unit for a year. Very nice facility, keypad to building never failed, temp was close to 70F all year, VERY clean and nice. Vince runs a tight ship and never had a problem that he did not immediately resolve. Would rent again. ... Read more

Office staff/call center very nice. Manager Vince F is a total dud... will not call back. I have been trying to reach him for over a week and does not call back. I have a problem with my balance. I was told the first month was free but they are trying to make me pay it with a late fee. This could very easy resolved if management would call. My next step may have to be the BBB/Magistrate in Belvedere. So if anyone knows Vince please have him to call me. ... Read more

Excellent place to rent a Uhaul. 24/7 use went OK. Got caught up on the electronic part of using 24/7, but called the help number. When I finally got through, I was kindly assisted, and given the time I lost for rental added on, all worked out great. ... Read more

I rented a 5X10X10 storage room for $55 per month. They aren’t climate controlled, but I don’t care about that. I’ll be careful of what I store there. The agent seemed nice. Typical of U-Haul, the guy who rented a truck just before I was served, got a. Heck engine light. The agent fixed him right up with a different truck that seemed more roadworthy. I still rent from U-Haul, but check it carefully before leaving town and make sure you’re covered for breakdowns. Anyway, I haven’t yet seen the storage as I was tired. I’ll update with information and photos. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Nick-s Self Storage-Office Space - 528 Edgefield Road include the following amenities: Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Truck Rentals, Security Camera, Gate, Credit Cards Accepted, First Floor Access and Online Payment. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 200 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Nick-s Self Storage-Office Space - 528 Edgefield Road start from $40 and can go up to $145 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
