DO NOT USE! POLICE INVESTIGATING MULTIPLE BREAK INS. SECURITY GATE WAS BROKEN AND WIDE OPEN FOR OVER A MONTH! SECURITY CAMERAS ALL POINTING TOWARD THE SKY! We had our storage unit Robbed. It took DAYS to get ANYONE on the phone. Then it was just an answering service that WOULD NOT GIVE US ANY CONTACT INFO FOR THE OWNERS. We had Tens of Thousands of dollars worth of parts and equipment stolen. ... Read more

The Moncks Corner storage facility's are horrible, i.e. burglary break-ins, long term wait for repairs that leave unit "open" to other/outside access (ins claim issues), camera(s) positions to identity burgulars. Customer Service, located in Texas, slow on responses and refuses to identify local owner to respond re: responsibility of facility complaints. ... Read more

DO NOT STORE ANYTHING VALUABLE HERE!!! I just moved here 4 months ago and my HOA do not allow trailers. So I stored my enclosed trailer and motorcycle here. I happen to be riding by on 12/6/2024 and noticed my trailer was gone. I immediately called Monck’s Corner Storage. They said they would not have moved it, then I discovered the gate was broken and half open. So I called the police reported the theft. I rode past the storage yard again that night and there was another police car with men standing around. I stopped in and they said there enclosed trailer had been stolen as well. I then called Monck’s Corner Storage everyday, only getting the manager telling me the “owners” are the only ones who can review footage from their 8 cameras on the front building. The gate remained broken and open for 4 days after this report. I finally reached out to the police officer on the 5 days. He said Monck’s Corner Storage has not reached out to him at all. This seems very suspicious to me. The officer also said this storage facility has been broken into in the past!!! So, here if the photos of my valuables that I’ll most likely never get back. Thanks Monck’s Corner Storage! ... Read more

We bought a storage spot of our boat and for an RV a few years ago at Moncks Corner Storage. We eventually sold the boat and recently purchased RV. We made sure that our RV fit well within the restrictions of the storage spot, which it does. When we went to go and pull our RV into our storage spot, we noticed the person next to us was parked well over the line into our spot, preventing us from parking the RV in the spot. We then called and left a message for the manager to take a look into the situation . A few days later, the manager got back to us. They said "we can not make the other person move over", and "you are going to have to find a new place to store your RV". We also saw that the same day they told us we are going to have to find a new place to store our RV they charged us for the upcoming month. We told them we would like to cancel our storage for this coming month and would like our money back for the upcoming month's storage charge since we would not be using them for the upcoming month. They ended up canceling our storage contract BUT they REFUSED to give us our money for the upcoming month. This storage company is extremely unprofessional and I really think twice about using them for a storage facility. ... Read more

I moved from out of state. Need a place to store my Harley and ATV near the Hopi was buying. After closing on our house I wanted to bring my bike home and the battery was dead. So I put a battery charger on it over night. The next day I get a phone call saying the Facility coordinator didn’t know what the cord was and cut the end of my cord off. Instead of unplugging it and call us tell that is not allowed. She took it upon her self to destroy my property. TOTALLY UNEXPECTED. WILL NEVER USE AGAIN AND DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!! ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Moncks Corner Storage - 1065 Live Oak Drive include the following amenities: 24 hour access, Drive-Up Access, Onsite Manager, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 50 to 240 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Moncks Corner Storage - 1065 Live Oak Drive start from $62 and can go up to $110 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
