.added that Ashley is the best thing that ever happened to the Lexington South Carolina location. Just put stuff in the one on Platt Spring Rd Lexington South Carolina. They seam good, last one yrs back mice got my stuff but I have a unit in the middle now ,not outside. Staff has been nice ,my only concern is I had to give id after already putting stuff in the unit,I was locked out the gate,if it been closed I'd made a trip for nothing I believe my identification was needed by them just should be done before I put things in the unit. Not sure id be safe at night locked out the gate Phone call after I posted this and it was very helpful and handled. ... Read more

Melenia was absolutely kind and professional. So very prompt and Johnny on the spot. It was absolutely hot and unbearable that day and she made the transition into a bigger unit an utter breeze. She is a star. Thank u, Mel. With regards, Lana Faye ???????????????????? ... Read more

Was super easy to start the rental online, got access quick and easy. They were also super understanding about an issue I had with my moving truck. A little disorienting how automated it is, but so far there hasn’t been a huge drawback to it. ... Read more

Great indoor temperarure controlled units, but NO consistent information, rules, advice. Rarely staff around but when they are their they look through you. All you will get is a point to the space ti stand and waiy on your virtual assistant somewhere taking calls for the organization. It's not their fault, but it is bad business. They can not do much and will more than likely send you to the app, or to call, as they can't get info to help you either. I have had to repeatedly explain myself while being tild there are no notes, especially concerns to corroberate your story conveniently. The fees change often, jumping morr than $100 before the end of the first year. ... Read more

I was going place my Z06 and my banshee and other toys in the "garage " until my shop was completed but this company went ahead and took my money out before I completed the lease. I have my own business and I think this is BAD business taking money from customers before completing all paperwork. HERE IS YOUR REVIEW MIDGAURD. ... Read more

The team that has helped us lease and coordinate our container move into storage have been amazing. David on the virtual side has been informative and helpful when we wanted to see our unit a day early. Chad on the property management side has made himself available to answer questions and helped facilitating the container delivery in an extraordinary way. Thanks for hiring and developing great people! ... Read more

Chase provided excellent customer service to me and my nephew. He was kind and patient in changing and updating information on the account. I have worked in some type of customer service role for 40 years. It is hard to find exceptional customer service. Chase's assistance was EXCEPTIONAL! Thank you, Chase. ... Read more

I showed up to drop off the Uhaul after a move from NC. No person, just a virtual/off site help person. No problem, if that would work. She got me in, but I asked her how do I get out of the locked gate. This helpful lady (Uhaul call center obviously) said to call the local number on the door and they will let you out. So I drop the truck off and get back to the locked gate. Called the number 3x and nothing - I left multiple messages. Now I am stuck inside. Amazingly and fortunately a storage rental client was at the gate about 20 minutes later and I was able to walk out of the gate when she came in. We rushed to get the truck back in time at 10 am and check this out - the owner of the facility RETURNS MY CALL AT 4PM! What a joke and I am hopeful that none of you use this as your drop off location, storage rental or any other function they have there. Very poor customer service and I am hopeful that UHaul rebukes you! ... Read more

Whitney was a pleasure to work with and very professional. I booked a unit online and had a few additional questions and they were answered thoroughly. There was another assistant prior to her that helped me with questions as well and she was also fantastic but I can’t recall her name. Great customer service is so appreciated especially these days! Keep up the great work! ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Midgard Self Storage - 1756 South Lake Drive include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, 24 hour access, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Truck Rentals, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, First Floor Access, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 750 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Midgard Self Storage - 1756 South Lake Drive start from $32 and can go up to $407 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
