Mr.Cole is a very sweet and great man! He's considerate and his prices are awesome. The only downfall is his daugther is extremely insensitive to others, unfriendly, and she has zero customer service skills! She hated me and it showed! She tried to hide it! Very bad for business! And I had a storage with thus company for 5 yrs! I paid some of her bills! It would be sad do Mr. Cole to leave it to her. The kids always gets the business and get away from the original and natural its t if the business! I hope he trains her better. Other than her. Its neat clean and Mr. Cole is phenomenal! ... Personal service, reasonable rates, and kind owner. Plus, two convenient locations for those in the Lake City & Scranton areas. The one drawback was not having the ability to pay online, which proved challenging when we moved out of town. However, Mr. Mike was great in working with us, even waiving the late fee once when our check was lost in the mail. Really appreciate the personal and friendly service he provides. ... Read more

Nice place and nice owner. Really works with you and storage is affordable. I just wish they could take credit or debit card payments and if they could do it online also. You have to have cash or money order. So it's a hassle driving all the way their and sometimes they are closed ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Cole-s Mini Storage - 930 South Ron Mcnair Blvd include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, 24 hour access, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking and Online Payment. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
