Ken (property manager) was a huge help! We had to visit his facility twice, once to pick up our Uhual rental and again to exchange for a bigger size after our movers didn’t think we could fit everything. Ken’s service was quick and efficient. After a chaotic morning, Ken made our lives much easier and we appreciate it! ... Read more

You walk in to realize that “self-storage” is very literal as no one actually works here. It is ran by people on video calls. Once we were in we came to figure out that there is in fact no “R” units labeled anywhere. Lettering only went up to “J” leaving us confused if our spot was indeed our spot. Once I received the invoice it was nearly DOUBLE the confirmed price I signed for. Tyler gave me a call to remedy the situation. Hoping to see the correct rate on the next bill. ... Read more

I talked to Ms/Mrs Christina about trying to help me out an seeing if they do partial payments and they do not, so she went above and beyond to let me know other options and what else I could do. And helped me on other issues and boom my Saturday isn't ruined anymore give her a raise because THATS WHAT CUSTOMER SERVICE IS ABOUT! . ... Read more

Karah a manager who works there was extremely nice and helpful. She waived the 30 day notice that I forgot to give before moving out, which kept me from paying another month for an empty unit. The units are nice clean and well secured. A + ... Read more

30$ administration fee to start! They need 31 days WRITTEN notice before you move out, when only an VIRTUAL employee runs the store! They will try and charge you for extra months and throw as many fees at you as they can, do not do business with these scammers! ... Read more

Warning!!!! Do not rent from this place!! If you do please read the fine print. The rates go up frequently. It’s difficult to get out of your lease. I called and stated I want to end my lease and got a confirmation email. Then I got another bill and was informed I’d have to come in to sign a form to end my lease. What???! Everything else is done online. So this was a horrible experience. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Midgard Self Storage - 935 West Butler Road include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, 24 hour access, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Truck Rentals, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, First Floor Access, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 360 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Midgard Self Storage - 935 West Butler Road start from $34 and can go up to $341 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
