Karen answers the phone. She processes your contract—does it in a way that works for you from billing to communications. She answers all your questions—knows everything you need to know about storage. The only thing she didn't do was move my boxes into the storage unit. Yup—she's that good, and the facility is clean, secure, and well cared for. ... Read more

The lady who owns the place explained everything and was super sweet but detailed about regulations. She took me around on her golf cart and gave me two choices of storage units I was interested in. I really like how the units are on the ground floor, simple storage space, great hours and close to everything if i just need to swing by. I would recommend this place to anyone. As being newer to the area I appreciated the help! Hours are great, month to month basis for payments and I got the first two months free (because of the special they had). Love it so far ??. I was given lock and keys same day, and and code to get in and out, and practiced to make sure I knew what to do. Easy peasy! Great customer service!!! ... Read more

I shopped around for parking storage for my pop up camper. Karen answered all my questions over the phone and was in the office when I stopped by to show me the spots available and walk me through the next steps. Since it’s so close to town I found it easy to get in/out when I needed to access. I was glad the facility is secure with access gate. Rates were reasonable and Karen couldn’t have been more friendly. Very easy to work with. Highly recommend!! ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Storage Rentals of America - 638 Powdersville Road include the following amenities: Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 20 to 400 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Storage Rentals of America - 638 Powdersville Road start from $29 and can go up to $316 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
