Great prices, easy access to my drive up unit. Great customer service. The website was not functioning well at all on the day I was trying to check in. I would get to the last step, hit complete, and the website would flip me right back to beginning. I had to input all of my information four times before it finally went through. Even after I was finally able to complete successfully, the website wouldn't let me back in to view my unit number. I had to finally call customer service, who was very helpful. I highly recommend you check your website. Thanks ... Read more

I went into my storage unit yesterday only to find the floor soaking wet.....today it was worse. I've called twice to alert them of the situation and still haven't received a call. I don't have time to check everything for damage as I'm having surgery this week. I'm incredibly disappointed and upset about the situation. By time I'm back on my feet I'm sure the mold will be outrageous! I have many vintage and personal items that cannot be replaced. The icing on the cake was meeting someone (while buying something to absorb the oder) that had the same issue there. So there's knowledge of a problem and no concern or communication to renters. Absolutely unacceptable situation. Door was open the whole time I was there and you can see water throughout. Some pictures are below, I have video as well. I rarely ever post a negative review of anything, but I'm blown away at what's going on and I don't want anyone else to have this experience. I had to move and pile anything wood. My cardboard boxes are soaked on the bottom and collapsing from the moisture. A complete disaster! ... Read more

I have rented from this storage unit on two different occasions. The first time I rented I didn’t have any problems. They changed owners and I have had problems after problems since I rented from them the second time. From being locked out of my unit for over 3 weeks, to being locked inside the storage unit overnight, and now this last incident really set me off. I came to get my Christmas gifts for my grandson (a dirt bike) and they had put a lock on my unit for non payment. My bill was at zero balance and they put a lock on my unit. I had to wait until the day after Christmas to get my grandson presents out of storage and they have yet to offer any kind of credit to my account for their mishaps. The don’t have any kind of emergency number to call in case of emergency. The place used to be 24 hours and I guess when they switched owners it’s no longer 24 hours and they turn off the automatic gate to get out of the unit. That’s how I got locked inside overnight. I called a left messages all night and they returned my call the next morning at 10am. Once I empty my unit I am done with Dillon storage for good. Please choose top storage instead… I also rent units from them and I have had zero issues. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 1,152 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Dillon Storage Center - 1107 Martin Luther King Jr Blvd start from $14 and can go up to $379 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
