Once was a decent place when privately owned. Now that Public Space owns it they cranked up the temps to 78 -82 for air-conditioned units. They have created conditions that is spread mold all across my unit and contents! ... Read more

I had storage space for a few years with the previous Pack Rat Self Storage owned property which was just shifted to Public Storage with no notice until I received a call on a Sunday with out an answer from the multiple call backs that Public Storage, the new management and ownership, locked me out because my autopay was cancelled due to the new ownership. They had no agreement and legal right to lock me out regardless since I was not aware or had a preexisting contract with Public Storage. I made the payment which took a unsuccessful chat that was disconnected without assistance and a call that finally got me to a person to pay my bill. The website would not allow me access to pay my account. I then created an account and then received the contract to sign. This is the worst customer service I have seen with any storage company before and I am very disappointed with the lack of successful comms pre lock out when I did not have an account with Public Storage and therefore believed the two texts last week as spam which happens everyday. If I had been out of the country, I may have lost all of my stuff without a legal contract with the new ownership. I am always on time unless there is an issue with their system historically, but had great comms with the previous company. Now, the property manager will not answer the phone on a business day. Please make sure you communicate and create a n account if you are an existing client or avoid this place all together if considering a new account. ... Read more

STAY AWAY from this location. When Public bought my storage unit it turned off my gate codes. No one was reachable. I finally connected with a person on site and they told me sign the lease and it’ll work. I also asked if there would be someone on site the next week because I was moving out of the state and they also said yes. The code did not work and no one was on-site at noon on a weekday. I had asked friends to come help and we were stuck at the gate. When the manager finally showed up she gave me attitude and came in a car reeking of pot. This was a nightmare experience and I’ll never use Public storage again in my life and will recommend no one else does either. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Public Storage - 1260 Bees Ferry Road include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Elevators, First Floor Access, Multi-Level Storage, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 690 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Public Storage - 1260 Bees Ferry Road start from $33 and can go up to $406 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
