Very kind greeting as soon as we walked in the door. The employee, Angela Padgett, was knowledgeable and very helpful. My sister is moving from FL to SC and needed a large unit. She was able to rent one and has taken the first step out of an abusive relationship. Thank you to Angela for her patience and kindness to my sister during this difficult time in my sister's life. ... Read more

BRING YOUR OWN LOCKS!!. Lots of thieves in Anderson who use storage theft as a come up. Stole right out of my storage left broken stuff. I didn’t get any of my things recovered when they caught one thief, despite paying so much money for an entire year. I always took pictures every trip and I did mention to the staff my lock was on wrong to which they replied I was the only person with a key to my lock. Containers ransacked, emptied out. I moved to a smaller container still over $100 but added a lock. The thieves started burning the locks. I’ll never understand worthless people who steal. Nothing good ever happens in their lives and every paper dollar they get will always be temporary. ... Read more

Please don’t rent a storage unit from this place. I went to check on my daughter storage unit today and my key wouldn’t fit in the lock that was on the door. I had to drive 45 minutes back home so I can get my daughter. The nice lady at the desk got employee to cut the lock off the door. All of my daughter stuff had been stolen about 6000 worth. The lady told us she would run the camera to see who got the stuff. Also, the lady stated they had a break in awhile ago. I asked why didn’t she notify everyone who had storage units. She said she only notified people who unit they knew it was broken into. The thieves took all my daughter furniture and accessories for her apartment. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at LocalStorage - 616 Pearman Dairy Road include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Truck Rentals, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Unstaffed Location, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, First Floor Access, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 50 to 300 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by LocalStorage - 616 Pearman Dairy Road start from $30 and can go up to $223 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
