Fran the owner put a lock on my storage that I moved out of and after so much documented harassment and over charging me. They are going to Auction an empty unit that only she has a lock on. It’s fraudulent and I’m shocked and I’m filing a lawsuit. ... Read more

Had our stuff stored here for a year or so and never had any problems. We were allowed to have a garage sale right in front of our unit as long as we didn't block the road. Reasonably priced for Talent. Managers were very friendly, on sight, and drove around the property frequently. The property is fenced but the door jams on the smaller units seem like they could easily be broken into. I also gave it only 4 stars because I didn't like the way my move out money was handled. I wanted to pro rate the days I was staying for my last few weeks in the new month but was told I had to pay the whole month and then I would be refunded. When the check came with my deposit and refund there was no breakdown of cost. I did not push the issue though since it was only a small amount difference in what I thought I'd be getting back. Overall though good experience. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Talent Mini Storage - 100 East Rapp Road include the following amenities: Drive-Up Access, Onsite Manager, Security Camera, Gate, Credit Cards Accepted, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
