Read some helpful reviews of Northwest Self Storage at 539 Maple Avenue, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

At the beginning it was okay but rates go up too fast here. Every three months there is a $12 increase. When you sign up there is a set up fee as well so the special kind of gets kicked out the picture due to those set up fees. It’s not maintained well with outdoor lighting there. In a whole lot there was only one flickering light to work with. It feels kind of sketchy, unsafe, and people come in and out easily, even if they don’t have a storage there. ... Read more

Rented unit online and wasn't told it had a normal size door for accessing 10x10 unit. Requested in person to be changed to a unit with large door. Staff handled request immediately and was able to switch units in less than 8 minutes with all needed paperwork. Staff was very pleasant and accommodating. ... Read more

Mark, the onsite manager was very knowledgeable of his facility, upfront about their payments and policies, proffesional and friendly. I appreciated his service, and in my opinion the facility is reasonable priced and very well kept in comparison to what I've experienced with storage. Thank you for your help Mark, and NW self storage. Shaggy ... Read more

We had an excellent experience at this storage facility. We needed somewhere to put our stuff for a little while during our move and it was easy to rent, the staff was amazing and the location was perfect. We loved the double ended unit with doors on each end. It made it cooler while we loaded and easy to get to things on the other side. The staff noticed we had moved out and called to check on us then helped us close our account. Wonderful service! ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Northwest Self Storage - 539 Maple Avenue include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Truck Rentals, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted and Online Payment. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 300 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Northwest Self Storage - 539 Maple Avenue start from $73 and can go up to $299 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
