Ive had a unit here for around 6 months now. Never had any issues. Really good customer service. I even lost my key once and the lady helped me get into my unit pretty quickly, i appreciated it a lot. The guy that works here is friendly and helpful too. Ill use this place until my needs for storage are over. They have an automatic payment option. Or you can pay over the phone or online i think. Their hours suck (they close at 6 pm, and are only open 4 hours on sat/sun) but it hasn't been a big deal. They have 3 loading docks and 2 elevators. I have to walk far to my unit but the prices couldnt be beat so its worth it. ... Read more

Place is okay for cleanliness and they have many carts to load your stuff on. The prices are better than some other places but storage facilities are generally expensive especially for bare minimum things like climate control. At least they didn't have a bait box in the unit like a place had that starts with U. My issue is with their hours and they won't let you access your unit if it's 30 minutes before they close. Not only is this insane their hours are horrible especially on weekends. Saturday and Sunday you can only access your unit until 330 pm because they "close" at 4. If you're moving these hours are not accommodating and the same goes for general access. I don't recommend this place at all because of the hours they're currently using because part of having a storage unit is access. I think not having access 24/7 is bad enough as I haven't seen any places who are, but closing off access to paying customers at 330 and 630 (weekdays) is really bad. Overall, the place has been good for storage unless you are trying to put things into storage or get access because of the poor hours that the establishment has decided to use. ... Read more

I like doing business with U-Store in Milwaukie. Nice folks and the place is clean. I wish the bathroom was a little closer to my unit but can't hold that against them lol. I also wish the elevators could carry people as well as my stuff as I have a hard time with stairs. I give 4 stars due to the stairs. ... Read more

I love this place. I would never want to go anywhere else to store my stuff. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I have seen people be trained at this facility and they are getting proper training that is thorough and direct. Things I like about it is that there are cameras in the Halls there is a lot of lighting there are restrooms that are clean and they are not open 24 hours or have 24-hour access. You must sign in at the door the staff is very alert to what is going on in the area. I would recommend this place to anybody that is looking for a unit. Also they do not allow food in the units so this Cuts back or totally wiped out the possibility of vermin. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at U-Store Self Storage - 16252 SE McLoughlin Blvd include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, Onsite Manager, Security Camera, Credit Cards Accepted, Multi-Level Storage and Online Payment. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 20 to 225 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by U-Store Self Storage - 16252 SE McLoughlin Blvd start from $60 and can go up to $284 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
