Read some helpful reviews of Stor-It-All at 550 East 8th Avenue, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

This Storitall location seems to be closed, or at least not accepting new customers. I've called multiple times during regular business hours + left multiple voicemails across 2 days, but never heard back. Very disappointing, as I've rented with them before even just a couple years ago, being the only storage unit near downtown + UofO campus. ... Read more

Great location in relationship to UO campus. This was our primary requirement because our student didn't have a car. HOWEVER, my son's unit was broken into over the summer. The thief broke the lock and riffled through his belonging having enough time to pick a chose items to steal. Fortunately there wasn't much that was valuable except his ski equipment which was in a large locked travel case and too big not to be noticed. There were no video cameras in the hallway of his unit. When we brought the theft to the person on site they didn't even apologize and questioned my son about providing his combination to someone else (which he didn't) To add insult to injury because the lock was broken I had to purchase a new one from them (it would have been a nice gesture for them to give us one) We NEVER got a call or apology from a manager. We filed a police report also with no repsonse - I didn't expect anything but wanted the police to be notified. There is a LOT of theft (sadly) in Eugene. The location can't be beat for a UO student, but I would highly recommend purchasing a disk lock because they are harder to break into. UPDATE - Tia, thank you for your response and for crediting us for the cost of the lock. I'm glad that you have made changes to increase security, because the location has really been helpful to us with a UO student living out of state. ... Read more

Have rented storage units from them for years. Various managers have not t been very friendly, but the units are heated, dey, and feel secure. There are closer circuit cameras and someone watching so I've always felt safe being in the building. Improved when they stopped requiring you to sign in at the office. Now in the far bldg you can sign in inside (less hassle). Location off of Franklin Blvd makes this one of the best storage options because so many are way out of town or not heated. Makes a difference when storing nice things. Would recommend to someone needing safe, heated, reasonably priced, close to town locked storage. ... Read more

I had a great experience here, rented for a little over a month. I like the 5 day grace period, saved me another months payment. I'd rent another space from these guys again! Only downside is that you can only access your unit during the open hours. If you can get beyond that, this is a great place to store your stuff. ... Read more

Nothing fancy about these units but they're clean, feel safe, and all the staff I've interacted with have been kind and answered questions easily. Not much parking inside which could make it difficult if you have a lot to load/unload but this hasn't been an issue for us yet, and rolling carts are available to assist with moving items. You do have to go upstairs to access many units and as far as I can tell there isn't an elevator that humans are allowed to use, only a cargo elevator. This doesn't affect me but just a heads up to others who may have mobility issues. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Stor-It-All - 550 East 8th Avenue include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Security Camera, Multi-Level Storage and Online Payment. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 20 to 300 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Stor-It-All - 550 East 8th Avenue start from $65 and can go up to $319 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
