I’ve had an excellent experience with Toy House RV Storage in Bend. The facility is exceptionally clean, secure, and well-maintained — easily one of the best storage locations in Central Oregon. Access is convenient, the layout makes it easy to park and maneuver large RVs or trailers, and the staff is always friendly and responsive. It’s clear they take pride in providing a safe, professional environment for customers. I really appreciate the attention to detail and the peace of mind knowing my equipment is protected year-round. If you’re looking for dependable RV or toy storage in Bend, Toy House is the place to go! ... Read more

Update 2/2024: The last increase was 4/2023 and they just “increased” the monthly rate another 5.23 on 1/2024 with no notice. This place is a POS. It snowed in December and they don’t plow so you can get your vehicles out. You have to dig it out yourself. Now it’s become a mission to review this greedy POS wherever possible. Look Elsewhere. The facility is adequate but as mentioned in other reviews, the price consistently goes up every year with 2022 being "inflation" and previous years for improvements that never took place. This is typical Bend, OR small town greed. We all are waiting for the economy to normalize and have more options so consumers can flip the table on these greedy business owners. ... Read more

Let’s talk about greed. We began using this storage unit for a trailer in 2014 for around $50 per month. Over the years, they not only promised extensive renovations to justify the substantial price increase to this run down, rusty nails sticking out of old pieces of 4x4s (it was a driving range before RV storage), unraveling artificial putting green turf, but they insisted they installed security cameras to the property. They did not, and when they were called out on it, they were not honest and tried to spin it as if there were cameras installed. Meanwhile, without notice, I received notification from autopay that this year, without notice, the cost jumped from $123 to $148. This is a cash cow for greedy owners who are off-sailing around the Caribbean in their 3rd yacht. If you stand for something, you won’t like it here. I regret not bashing this business years ago. Unethical through and through. ... Read more

We had our fifth wheel damaged by someone or something while parked during the winter. Big dent/scrape on our front cap. They have cameras facing right at our spot. I had to basically harass this place for weeks for updates. I understand they are not liable for damages and after weeks of waiting was told, "we reviewed the footage and saw nothing". Disappointed in the customer service ... Read more

Run down facility, with metal pipes and old rusty nails sticking out of the ground. They frequently and dramatically increase prices with minimal time for customers to prepare for the costs, and they rarely make any noticeable improvements. They added some gravel and security cameras and my costs went form $50-ish to $138 per month over a couple of years. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Toy House RV Storage - 20420 Robal Road include the following amenities: Drive-Up Access, Onsite Manager, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Enclosed, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
