Nice clean newly built security gates and monitoring all people coming in and out. Great hours 7 days a week and you can drive your vehicle right up to your unit. Great place to store your things safely. I recommend 100% ... Read more

I have had a unit here since the pandemic started in 2019. I went to school at OSU, but suddenly had to fly back home to Wisconsin to due family reasons. I have kept a car, some furniture, and other items in my storage locker here. Finally, now in August 2023 I flew back to Oregon to retrieve my stuff and clear out my unit. Everything was still in good shape (albeit a bit dusty)! The worker (I think her name was Cory) was wonderful! She helped me find the resources I needed to get my car repaired, where to take any trash, and where to donate anything I didn't need. I had a great experience here. It's a newer facility that feels secure with the gated entry. I would recommend it. ... Read more

Agreeable the unit was clean staff is friendly enough. Downfall is I was only in the unit for two weeks. Ask for partial refund and was told because we weren't in a unit for a full month we could not get a refund .This is not fair because I told them upfront. It would be for a short period of time because we were in the process of moving my daughter from Albany to Corvallis. ... Read more

I called the one on Davidson and was told they didn't have any units but to call the Ferry location because they did. I called and spoke with a gentleman who was incredibly helpful and very pleasant. He immediately put a hold on the size unit I chose to save it. When I went in I spoke with his wife who was also incredibly friendly. They were very clear about what the rules are, were very helpful about everything. The security is incredible. I am very pleased and highly recommend it. ... Read more

Nice units, horrible staff. Everyone that works here and at the corporate office is rude. They treat people more like employees than customers. They want you to know that they are the boss. Within a week or two of getting a unit here, they told me I had to use a different kind of lock. I said I prefer combination locks because I don't want to add another key to my ring. Their first response was "We'll evict you then." And this was said with an extremely rude tone. After arguing for awhile, another staff member said I could sign a waiver if I wanted to use my own lock. This is not the only example either. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Storage Depot, The - 2887 Ferry Street SW include the following amenities: Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, First Floor Access and Online Payment. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 500 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Storage Depot, The - 2887 Ferry Street SW start from $70 and can go up to $288 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
