I want share the positive experiences with Lavonne at the 3677 E Kemper storage unit. The person I rented the space was not nice charged me for insurance when I didn’t want it plus I didn’t get the first month discount! Lavonne was fantastic. ... Read more

had an excellent experience thanks to Peyton From the moment I walked in, they greeted me with a smile and made the whole process quick and easy. She was not only professional and efficient but also incredibly friendly, which made the interaction pleasant. It’s rare these days to find someone who takes the time to make customers feel valued, and I really appreciated their positive attitude. Great service—I’ll definitely be coming back ... Read more

If you’re ready for unexpected fees and cost increases this place is a great place for you and your belongings. If your availability is first shift to store your belongings this place is best for you. I’ve payed my bill every month and the bill has increased so so much it’s but me in a bind. The gate closes and locks you inside after 9pm. Thankfully there was a police officer nearby and he punched in his code which let me out! ... Read more

This place is run by the most useless, unhelpful management imaginable. Last week we attempted to access our unit only to find the lock was stuck, and finally, after 7 entire days of phone calls, numerous voicemails, and a scheduled appointment that the property manager never showed up to, have we finally gotten in. No one is ever in the front office. We received a call yesterday that our unit had a new lock, only to find that a second lock was added next to THE SAME ONE WE COULDN'T OPEN. These people are almost comically inept. The facility is clean and looks nice from the outside, but don't let that fool you. Without a doubt the worst excuse for 'customer service' I've ever experienced. ... Read more

Beware: The first day that I came to rent a storage unit from this facility, everything was great, and the lady working the property was extremely nice. Things really went downhill after that. There was never anybody on site when I would stop to speak to somebody after my first day signing up. They were short staffed and splitting days between other facilities. My online account was messed up and would never let me login. I called to get it fixed and they would transfer me to the IT department and the IT department would tell me that it would be fixed and to log back in, but it would never let me. Then you'd have to get back on the telephone with them and do it all over again. It kept saying I had a technical error. My credit card got shut off and needed to update my payment but it was too late. My storage unit was auctioned off and it had my life in there. I'm completely devastated mentally and financially from it all. I only owed maybe $300 and there was thousands of dollars worth of stuff in the storage unit. They will not give you any additional money that they made off of your unit for selling all your stuff. It was a complete loss for me and my family. Avoid the hassle and go up the street to Stor All Pisgah because they have been so easy to deal with and you don't have to jump through hoops to reach someone. This company really needs to get their system together to prevent this from happening to someone else. This place does not care and their copy and paste response to every complaint proves it. I was unable to get any of my personal paperwork and family pictures or memories back. I feel like my house has been burnt down. ... Read more

I was with a friend that rented a unit here. Talicia was simply AMAZING. She rented us the right size unit for a fabulous price. We got a 5 x 10 unit, leaving us only having to pay a little over $200 for a years worth rent with the Fall Sale (we paid in advance). SIMPLY AMAZING. The property is extremely clean and even after renting us the unit, Tee was non stop helping others that needed assistance while cleaning units and the property AND had to go to another property down the street to do the same. She is a rare a Gem. Thank you Tee for being so professional and knowing your job so well. We are very happy ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Public Storage - 3677 East Kemper Road include the following amenities: Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, Keyless Unit Access, Elevators, First Floor Access, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 300 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Public Storage - 3677 East Kemper Road start from $27 and can go up to $210 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
