Well I am trying to pay my bill, I call no one answers, asks to leave a call back number but the voice-mail box is full. Show up to the office to pay in person and nobody there, does anyone work at this place? ... Read more

There's a few things you need to be aware of before you rent here. I've had units here for quite a few years and never had permits until recently. First off, if you have an inside unit, beware that they don't clean the hallway floors hardly ever. There's been dead bugs, bandaids, garbage on the floors numerous times for months on end. The units should be ok though, but the hallways aren't super clean. Secondly, access. The hours are ok, but if the gate fails or you have a problem, the number they have posted "In Case of Emergency" is the regular phone number that they only answer during business hours Monday through Friday. I did get locked in one day because the gate failed but luckily it was during business hours and someone answered the phone. Out of business if this had happened I would have been calling the police. Thirdly, don't be late paying your rent and when you pay make sure they charged you for what you asked for. We always pay a couple months at a time and this last time they only charged us for one month and we didn't realize it and now I'm locked out and can't get my business stuff that I need for this weekend and am losing sales and business. They also charge you late fees. They sometimes send notices if you're late but not always. As for the late fees, they charge you by the day. The issue with this is when they sell you a 10x30 unit, they charge you late fees for 4 units because technically that unit could be divided into four separate units. I don't agree with this since they sold me ONE unit, my receipt says TWO units, but late charges are for FOUR units. I had a unit here when I first moved to the area in 2006 then got a unit again in about 2008 and got the larger unit in 2021. They've gotten a lot of business from me but I'm not super happy with the way things are running now. I also have units at two different places in Florida that run totally different and are super clean. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Northwood Storage - 4610 Woodville Road include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Onsite Manager, Truck Rentals, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, First Floor Access and Online Payment. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 200 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Northwood Storage - 4610 Woodville Road start from $50 and can go up to $136 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
