Read some helpful reviews of A Fortress Store-Lock at 2521 Carmody Blvd, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

I am the current manager of Afortress Store and Lock. We have a clean place for you to store your things. To Mr Mauer you signed a lease on 8/1/2023. After 5 days of your payment it's my job to overlock your unit. Which is what I did my job. You sent your payment by mail. So, you was locked out of your unit for non payment and I went in on my day off and unlocked your unit. Most people would be grateful but instead you left a bad review on Google. Thank you for being a past customer. ... Read more

While the price is really cheap, the people running it are wonderful. They made the process of getting the storage unit very easy and answered my questions really well! The guy working there even help me get my stuff from the car into my storage unit. I 100% recommend this place. ... Read more

Pam the manager is rude and disrespectful. I sent a money order but she locked me out of my unit. I am being robbed of $500 of camping gear and fishing equipment. People live on the property running machines and storing gasoline and unsafe liquids. The units and fencing is in poor disrepair. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at A Fortress Store-Lock - 2521 Carmody Blvd include the following amenities: Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Onsite Manager, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, First Floor Access and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 40 to 400 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by A Fortress Store-Lock - 2521 Carmody Blvd start from $38 and can go up to $100 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
