Read some helpful reviews of iStorage at 7888 Wildcat Road, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

When first arriving wasn't very clear on the keypad what the code was. I was given a code but would not work due to two buttons that I didnt know I had to hit. Upon arriving at the storage unit the inside was a mess with the insulation falling. I went and bought a broom to clean it up but I am afraid that my items will be covered in insulation. ... Upon our arrival last Saturday, I was quite taken aback to find the exit gate wide open, which raised immediate concerns about the security of the facility. When I inquired about this with customer service, I was informed that nothing could be done about it at that moment. Unfortunately, we were in a bind, having to return our U-Haul, and had no other choice but to store our belongings there. Once we opened our assigned unit, we were greeted with insulation or some kind of foamy, moldy substance scattered throughout. Given that we were storing my deceased mother’s belongings, I was extremely uncomfortable with the idea of placing them in a unit that appeared to have significant issues, including a ceiling that was falling apart and potential mold and moisture problems. I reached out to switch units, hoping for a better option. Regrettably, the second unit presented similar concerns. It was rusted shut, requiring my husband to use tools to pry it open. After this experience, I felt compelled to call back and request yet another switch. The final unit we ended up with also had strange materials falling from the ceiling, though to a lesser extent. We were exhausted and decided to take it, but I can’t help but feel uneasy about the condition of the facility. Overall, I am disappointed with the state of this storage business and the lack of care for both the facility and customers' belongings. It is clear that one should expect more for the 4.7 rating advertised. I sincerely hope to have our items out within a month, as I do not feel this is a safe and secure environment for storage. ... I just “escaped” the facility. Apparently the exit gate is broken and I was told that the property manager was aware but there was no sign or warning. So I was able to get in but not get out. Property manager is not there on Sundays and the customer service line could not do anything. I was able to find a way to get back to the entrance and open the gate from there and then hurry back to my car to wait that way(which the customer service rep said was “ok this time”). It was ridiculous. They keep raising the rent but the facility keeps getting worse. TERRIBLE customer service! ... Read more

At iStorage Huber Heights, Matt was most helpful in getting answers to our numerous questions. He had to make several phone calls as well as taking us back to the storage facility rented by our deceased friend, so we could evaluate the lock situation. Big shout out to Matt! ... Read more

I give the facility a -100x10. The reason I give them this score is because I am a small business owner and one of the things my company does is we restore antiques furniture to its original beauty the antique piece we get lucky and find we restore and put in our unit at this facility and when I tell you it's the biggest mistake I've ever made. We didn't have a property manager for six months and the gate has been left unlocked for days twice in the past two months. My unit was broken into and a $15,000 vintage foot stool was destroyed when they broke in and there are only cameras at the entrance and the exit. This place is the worst place on the planet to store your belongings I do not recommend to anyone ... Read more

Reserved unit online and was shocked to find the ceiling falling down and a complete mess. Staff didn't seem to care that I was unhappy with the unit and requested a refund. After 3 weeks I have still not moved anything and I have not received a refund. This property is not well maintained and I do not recommend it ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at iStorage - 7888 Wildcat Road include the following amenities: Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted and Online Payment. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 400 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by iStorage - 7888 Wildcat Road start from $20 and can go up to $233 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
