Read some helpful reviews of LocalStorage at 523 Adams Street, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

I have been with North Town Storage for over 4.5 years and have enjoyed the experience! The facility has easy access and 24/7 capabilities. The staff and customer service is always nice and willing to help with any issue or question. I have automatic payment options which makes it easier to pay monthly. The facility itself is kept clean and new construction is underway! My storage unit stays dry and clean. Very happy with North Town and you would be too, so BOOK TODAY! :) ... Read more

We have rented a unit for years from this company. It’s a great location for us and the unit and grounds are secure and more than adequate. Our monthly fee is deducted, per our request, from our bank account which is very convenient. We have never had a problem doing business with this company. ... Read more

For anyone looking in the Fremont Ohio area for a storage unit to rent, or any business that falls under the “Alchemy Property Management” name like North Town Storage does. I’m here to tell you it’s NOT a business you want anything to do with! Their mission is max profits, and to pay off the property they have acquired. If you want to know why I say that just keep reading. Otherwise do yourself a MAJOR FAVOR AND LOOK ELSEWHERE! Was a long time storage renter of North Town Storage and wasn’t aware the business changed ownership recently. Often in the past I would pay more money and be ahead and not receive a monthly bill or go months in some cases without receiving a bill. On 5-6-2024 I received a letter from North Town Storage stating that I owed just over one hundred dollars and that if I didn’t pay it the contents of the storage unit would be auctioned off and to call them if I was making a payment. Called North Town Storage just after reading that letter and made the payment over the phone. North Town Storage informed me they had sent a prior letter using a return receipt envelope to my address. I did not receive that envelope/letter and wish to make that clear too the reader. AFTER I made the payment over the phone I was asked if “I cut their lock?” “And if I have a reddish colored truck with a white trailer?” Said no I didn’t cut any locks and I don’t own any red vehicles. North Town Storage THEN informed me a reddish colored truck with a white trailer and a younger man cut the lock and removed a ATV from the storage unit. I told them I would come by tomorrow after work. The next day 5-7-2024 I stopped by the office of North Town Storage. I asked about the pictures/video of this truck, trailer and the person. They informed me a police report had been filed and a police officer will contact me. I asked for the proof North Town Storage sent me a return receipt letter. That I wanted to see the return slip the post office sends back to sender showing proof the mail was delivered. All they could provide me was a copy of the front of the envelope. Where they (North Town Storage) had printed out a label and had the addresses on the envelope. IT WAS NOT a return slip from the post office that proves the delivery was made. Anyone and I mean anyone can print postage and write out the addresses on an envelope and then scan and print it. One of the ladies and myself went to the storage unit. She then proceeds to tell me my lock on the storage unit was cut off on 4-30-24 by North Town Storage. Pictures of all the contents were taken and posted to a website called Storage treasures. Just to be crystal clear with the reader, North Town Storage posted pictures of the storage unit contents online WITH the storage unit number AND the business name! Not surprisingly the evening of 5-1-2024 the storage unit was broken into and my ATV, tires/wheels and god only knows what else was stolen. North Town Storage was criminally negligent with my property. I told that lady in the storage unit with me at that time they were directly responsible for the storage unit being broken into. The unit had been untouched and unopened for years. Two days later on 5-9-2024 after work I show up to the storage unit to pickup my first load. There’s an envelope taped to the door. Bear in mind this is outside where anyone inside the storage facility could have access to it. I open the envelope and there’s a letter inside with a notice to “Leave the premises” Says I have three (3) days to get everything out or it will be sold off and lists the reason why as “Suspected criminal activity”. I hadn’t been to North Town Storage in years and they know I did nothing wrong. Thats how cold they’re! Rented an enclosed trailer and took time off work. Everything was out of the storage unit by 5-12-2024 and another sad revelation was how poor the video footage was and how bad the lighting is there. The video surveillance system and lighting isn’t protecting anything there. Chris Everett ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at LocalStorage - 523 Adams Street include the following amenities: Indoor, 24 hour access, Drive-Up Access, Security Camera, Gate, Unstaffed Location, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 100 to 400 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by LocalStorage - 523 Adams Street start from $30 and can go up to $140 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
