Do not rent here ! Last month I was sent a text asking if we moved our stuff out bc the unit looked vacated which we had not . The manager that text me didn’t say anything after that even after I text her multiple times . I spent 25 minutes on phone trying to figure out what they were talking about only to have to load 2 toddlers in car during nap time to go find out myself since they didn’t know . Half way there manager calls me and says there is no lock on door but doesn’t want to cause alarm bc she could be wrong . She gave me another code to get in since most codes were not working that day . I get there and there is a lock on unit and all out things are there . So all of that for nothing . Then my husband goes today to get his work supplies out and his code doesn’t work . I call office and they try to open gate and they cannot get it to open so my husband had to rearrange his whole work day and had a lot of wasted time . I asked for a manager to call me and have yet to receive a call . I am currently trying to call them and I have been waiting for 20 minutes for someone to pick up the phone to see if the keypad has been fixed . Also these units are rough looking . Gutters falling off . Inside units are rough . If you did use them I would only put outdoor items in them . They are overpriced and we will be switching . ... Read more

10/10 would NOT recommend. Got a storage unit and when I went to move my stuff into it the unit was FILTHY, the plywood on the inside was rotting on the bottom from what appeared to be water damage, and it was infested with bugs. There was no staff in person so I had to call KO Storage main number and talk to a representative. I got asked to look at another storage unit but was told my rent would be increased. After denying that unit due to having to pay more, I was told to go look at another unit, and that lock was jammed and unable to open. They ended up price matching the first one she had me look at so that was nice. On top of all this, there was poison ivy throughout the outsides of their units, so I also reported that to the lady I was on the phone with. I would definitely not recommend keeping any furniture or clothes in the unit, as they are not up to standard with how you would like furniture and clothing to be stored. For the price that they are, they really aren’t that great. Not being able to communicate with anybody during business hours in person is also beyond frustrating. If you’re looking for a storage unit I would keep looking. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at KO Storage - 529 East 2nd Street include the following amenities: Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Credit Cards Accepted, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 100 to 540 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by KO Storage - 529 East 2nd Street start from $100 and can go up to $300 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
