Super polite, courteous and was genuinely helpful in assisting me obtain my unit ..... showed some serious patience dealing with my laggy internet connection and was even able to troubleshoot the issue in accepting my card information and getting the payment processed..... over-all, it took about 30mins [again, mostly my phone's fault] but it was refreshing to have an agent with such a great attitude. Anthony's a 12/10, highly recommend ?? ... Read more

UPDATE... increasing the 2 star review to a 4 star review based solely on the interaction I had with Natalie on the phone today from customer service. Natalie took the time to understand my issue and work on way to make the situation better for everyone involved. I appreciate Natalie and her kindness and understanding. Move in went well, facility is decent.. its a storage rental place what can you expect. Giving a 2 star rating as the rental increases are high and often and they do not care about customer retention at all. I rent a 10x10 unit here, they are raising my rate to $119/m, the website says $65/m (no promotions just base rental amount) when I called to ask why the rental increase is so high compared to the standard rate, I was informed due to a new online user portal(I don't use it the rent is auto billed) and improvements to the property (the property is the same since they day I moved in potholes in the facility and large potholes at the front entrance by the road) I was told my options were A) pay the new rental amount, B) get a smaller unit, or C) on the day of my "move out" call and rent another 10x10 unit to get the normal standard rate.... so they don't care about customer retention at all. The rate increases can happen whenever they choose they give you a 30 day notice to either pay the new rate or move out, but they can increase the rent whenever they choose there is no lease term or lock in of price for x amount of months. Lots of hoops to jump through here to get a decent rate, they would probably have more customers if they cared more about customer retention. ... Read more

I am a brand new customer.so, I had lots of questions regarding their insurance coverage policy. I was fortunate enough to have Maria, as my customer service rep. Maria, was absolutely, wonderful. She eased all my concerns and answered all my questions, in addition, to confirming the answers to my questions, via my email as proof. Maria was very patient with my many questions, and pleasant throughout the entire duration of our phone conversation. I give Maria 5 stars for her customer service skills. She earned every star. Thank You, Maria, I really appreciate everything you did for me. Your a true professional, at your job. Sincerely, Laura R ... Read more

First time users of Bolt storage in Batavia Ohio. The Rental process was quite easy and accomplished online. I did have to call customer support as my first gate code did not function. The girl on the other end of the phone was more than helpful, gave me a temporary passcode for the day and my original one now works as advertised. Superb English speaking skills as the customer support appears to be off shore. However this is one of the few support centers where excellent Kings English is spoken. The facilities are super clean with smooth concrete floors and wood clad ceilings. The roll up doors are smooth and easy to operate. This is a shingle roof building which is very important for the hot summer temperatures. Metal roofs with no insulation turns that unit into an oven. Believe me, I know from experience. Thanks Bolt Storage for job well done! ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Bolt Storage - 2636 Old State Route 32 include the following amenities: 24 hour access, Drive-Up Access, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Unstaffed Location and Online Payment. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 100 to 360 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Bolt Storage - 2636 Old State Route 32 start from $70 and can go up to $190 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
