Read some helpful reviews of Drop-Lock Storage at 1371 Route 22, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

If I could give 0 stars I would, customer service is terrible and on top of that, after paying $120 a month, we have mold and mildew on almost all of our clothing, our leather recliner is now garbage, and a 65 inch tv is completely ruined. When confronted, they had every single excuse in the book as to why they can’t do anything about it. We are currently in talks with lawyers to get this situation settled because the staff isn’t willing to do anything about it ... Read more

Great storage facility! I have been renting with them for about 20 years now (well me and my mother lol). They are the best storage facility in the area; not only do they have the best prices, they have top notch security, knowledgeable staff, multiple size units for anything you need stored, and the grounds are always clean. Couldn't ask for more. ... Read more

Top Notch facility!!! AAA+++ Everything is well cared for -the grounds, security, and the units. Everyone I dealt with there was always so nice and accommodating. You can easily pay online which worked out so conveniently. And they have very reasonable prices. You will not be disappointed! ... Read more

Great storage facility with excellent security and management. I had trouble finding a larger unit in other storage facilities but this owner was extremely responsive, putting me on a list, offering to move me from a smaller one to a larger one when it became available. She responded immediately to my inquiries (unlike most other storage facilities I contacted), in fact within hours on a weekend. Very clean, very well run and really nice people in the main office. You feel like you are family when you rent a storage unit here and you definitely know they care and value their customers. I finally bought a house in the area and emptied my unit but I would go back anytime and highly recommend them. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Drop-Lock Storage - 1371 Route 22 include the following amenities: 24 hour access, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
