Do not put your stuff here unless you want it to be destroyed by mice urine and poop and roaches. I had my stuff stored here for a year and a half and when I went to get my stuff half of my stuff had to be thrown out due to it being covered in mouse urine and poop. There were also roaches all over my stuff. I even had all my furniture wrapped in plastic and the mice ate through it and made it their home it seems like. On top of that they raise your rent every 6 months. I start out paying $102 for my unit and by the time I moved my stuff out 18 months later my rate was $203. Thats double the price in just less than 2 years.. ... Read more

Don’t rent here! They raised my rate $50 a month less than six months after moving in. And no, I didn’t rent my unit on a timed promotion that expired. A $50 monthly increase on a $130 unit (now $180) after just a few months is crazy—that’s like nearly a 40% increase?? Also, there’s nothing in the contract that says they can’t/won’t raise it again for a whole year after the initial raise, unlike Stop & Stor, which clearly states that protection. I was reminded of that when I contacted them to complain. Stay far, far away. *Edit: After contacting them to complain, their customer service was actually pretty decent. But sorry—your shiest has been discovered and it’s far too much to give more than two stars now. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Public Storage - 1107 Goethals Road North include the following amenities: Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, Keyless Unit Access, Elevators, First Floor Access, Multi-Level Storage, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 300 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Public Storage - 1107 Goethals Road North start from $74 and can go up to $525 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
