Read some helpful reviews of Public Storage at 1693 East Avenue, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

Keila the property manager was fabulous! She gave me a suggestion that saved me money by transferring a unit instead of getting a larger more expensive one. The facility is nice and bright and Keila does a lot of work to keep the place looking clean and welll run. She's been very helpful with my storage needs as I am downsizing. ... Read more

This was a wild experience but a good one. The night of my move in day for the storage unit I got there at 8:30pm and I've never used these units before so when I got there, I made sure to use the app in order to access the first gate but when I got inside I didn't know how to access my unit or where lock and keys. After figuring out where my unit was and putting everything inside of it, I found out my lock was too rusted and I called the customer service and left a voicemail. Next morning, I get a call back from Kaila, customer service lady, asking me of my issue in which I met her in the afternoon to get the issue resolved with the lock situation. She literally got her tools and took off the old hinges of the sliding door and put a new one on and then proceeded to give the correct lock because I didn't have the right one int he first place for the unit. She was amazing and I would definitely use the public space storage in the future if needed. ... Read more

I won a storage space at this location and realized I was running a little late. I immediately called the office and the young lady by the name of Ambrosia respectfully took on the matter to extend hours. She had awesome customer service and very welcoming when I arrived. Great business and good attitude. ... Read more

Worst storage unit I've ever used. The manager was nasty to me in the elevator even called me a racial term to another customer. She refused to help my husband and I move in or even find my unit but was more than happy to help the other guest no problem was even nice. Also got told no furniture can be here. It's dump with graffiti and feels like my stuff will be stolen thus the insurance required I guess. Will be out as soon as possible. Go to a different unit. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Public Storage - 1693 East Avenue include the following amenities: Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, Keyless Unit Access, Elevators, First Floor Access, Multi-Level Storage, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 300 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Public Storage - 1693 East Avenue start from $51 and can go up to $328 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
