We had a fantastic experience touring The Lofts with Nicole! She was warm, and knowledgeable, and took the time to provide us with all the details we needed. She also knows the neighbourhood and the community really well, so we felt super comfy asking her questions! We left the tour feeling well-informed and excited about the possibility of moving. The Lofts are a great place to call home, and the experience is made even better with the warm hospitality offered by Nicole. ... Read more

I live in Land Grove, which is right next to the Lofts at Beacon. Some of my Lofts at Beacon neighbors are nice people and some are not. The Maintenance workers are nice people. The Lofts at Beacon is a very beautiful place to live in a beautiful peaceful neighborhood. ... Read more

We absolutely loved living at The Lofts at Beacon; it is by far our favorite apartment we've lived in. The community is welcoming, the loft-style interior is beautiful and spacious, and the garden space and river path on the property were huge pluses for us coming from the city. The noise was minimal in our space, nothing more than you'd expect with apartment living. Management and maintenance were always responsive and friendly. Sadly, we had to move closer to NYC, and we will miss The Lofts at Beacon very much! ... Read more

My Boyfriend and Father of our 7 month old has worked there since May in Maintenance and is adored by the resident's who rent there. Recently he was out for a little over a week due to our son having RSV and being hospitalized and then due to us both having it and could not go in as it is highly contagious. Today would have been his first day back and when he got there this morning, he was fired and told to return his work attire and a little over a week before Christmas. Talk about heartless. I guess he should have come in and gotten his coworkers sick too. My advice don't work for this company. ... Read more

Choosing to live at the lofts for a year was the best decision my husband and I ever made. The place is truly a gem in Beacon. I felt like I was living in luxury while paying a fraction of the cost. Seriously these lofts would run at LEAST $10k+/month had it been in Manhattan (where we’re originally from). The ONLY issue I would want to reveal: there is no noise abatement while living in these buildings. We lived in bldg #11 (2nd floor) and could hear exact conversations of the person living next door. We emailed Nicole and she had sent over a white noise machine, which was helpful. ... Read more

Wonderful community, beautiful spaces, & great management! I lived in one of the new street-entrance apartments next to the workshops. It's a gorgeous, deep space, with lots of visually beautiful brick, and lovely wood floors. Being a newly constructed apartment, there were a bunch of small issues, but all of them were seem to over time and the results were excellent. The community is just wonderful - lots of very interesting, energetic and intelligent people, all up to their own particular fascinating stuff. I've met so many friends here! The nearby creek has been a beautiful spot to walk, string up my hammock, and sit and think. I will miss it, very much. The biggest downside for me was the lack of a pleasant walking or biking path into town. I really enjoy not being dependant on a car, and here I seldom ventured out without stepping into my car first. All in all, I loved it at the lofts, and leave with many good memories. I will be back to hang out with everyone, often ???????? ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Beacon Lofts and Storage - 18 Front Street include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Truck Rentals, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Multi-Level Storage and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 30 to 150 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Beacon Lofts and Storage - 18 Front Street start from $67 and can go up to $194 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
