BEWARE of these Storage crooks before you entrust your valuables to them. They will turn on your good faith of trust and plunder you the first opportunity they get! I had been renting two large storage units for 15 continuous years with with an unfailing history of payments, and I was out of the country around Christmas when my debit card on file expired unbeknownst to me. As luck would have it, my phone was also not in service due to a downgrade of phone service. This being around the month of November. and Christmas month following it, I realized this only around 90 days after the debit card expiry, when I noticed the monthly debit had stopped hitting my banking account. While Reno Self storage sent out a registered notice of lien to my postal address, which obviously could not be delivered as I was out of the Country, they did not once bother to call my Bank to try to get my e-mail from them, or have them notify me of the pending lien of sale, or track me down electronically in any other way (even if I can recall I had updated my email with the storage) when clearly the returned letter of lien was indicative of my lack of being informed. I had lifelong valuables over $3500,000.00 (maybe even $500000.00 in today's market) in the storage in the form of rare books, music, antiques, office furniture, electronics, and other collectibles, including precious artwork that was the remembrance of the love of my life, and Reno storage did not wait to give my belongings away to "Charity" as Rod, the Storage manager put it , to clear the units to recover $660 dollars of pending debt? It was a crime of opportunity and the "Charity transfer" the tool of choice and the modus operandi to plunder my wealth without due accountability, en-masse . Reno Self storage could easily have sold a few items of my goods to recover enough money to cover another years of rent, if safeguarding Customer property was foremost in their minds. I have cried inconsolably every single day for a week now, over the irrecoverable loss of every single item of my valued life-long collection and it simply kills my heart to know that these valuables now adorn the of the walls of the houses of these devious crooks, as ill-gained wealth, or are now waiting to be sold-off for profit, hidden away in another storage bay; when they were stored for the enjoyment of my family and future generations. Reno Self Storage has victimized me, and this is nothing but a crime of opportunity and of preying. These immoral gangsters need need to fear God before they can sell you their trust, and their Karma will will surely catch up with their ill-gotten gains. It is my duty to share my experience and my painful story with you, the unsuspecting Customer. You have been warned, beware of this business establishment, and doubly warned, if you are an immigrant. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Reno Self Storage - 2150 Market Street include the following amenities: Drive-Up Access, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 35 to 480 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Reno Self Storage - 2150 Market Street start from $50 and can go up to $275 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
