I have been here for a year and it has been well kept! Cleaned up and kept nice whenever there were leaves blowing around. The person that manages the site, her name is Erica, and has been helpful in answering any questions about the units, contract, and billing inquiries on the app side of things. Thank you for helping create a secure site to store my extra belongings. ... Read more

Definitely DON'T go see Erica at the Public Storage South McCarran property! By far the WORST customer service I've encountered with Public Storage! I don't know if she recently got a job title promotion or what, cuz she used to be very friendly and helping. But just recently her attitude has changed and She's definitely all about making herself look good to her higher ups and not helping her customers get the best experience possible with Public Storage. And I thought Public Storage was HUGE on customer service? I don't know what changed, but now I'm leaving Public Storage and it's all cuz of her! And I've been a customer there now just over 2 years. ... Read more

Hi everyone, I’m a very happy person today. I wanna share why Erica the manager here at this property is absolutely amazing. First off. The property is very clean. Very maintained exceptional customer service. I’ve never had a problem here in the last two years. Just recently, my mom got a storage unit and I had to move back home so we share A unit yesterday and my mother misplaced the key and as we were into the storage unit trying to get the lock off Mom went in and told Erica and Erica immediately reached out to her boss We were told it would be 5 to 10 business days and this morning Erica called me and asked me to meet her at the unit where she took the old lock off. I have a lung disease and my box full of medicine is in there and I am so thankful today. Erica is a keeper very professional excellent customer service skills and easy to communicate with 10 thumbs up for Erica. Thank you love bug. You helped me avoid an emergency visit today to the ER ... Read more

I don't know how to get into my Google account that I posted the last review of here, under Kelly. I will say the on-site manager today Erica was incredible. Dealing with a broken key in the lock was frustrating in the moment, but once I was able to talk to her she fixed everything immediately and did it with a great positive attitude. I've never had any issues here other then the lock. I would say I recommend place for your storage needs. (I received NO compensation in any way to post this. Erica was just that nice!) ... Read more

This place sucks, they sold me a lock it stopped working in not even 6 months causing the key to break off in the lock. I tried to get ahold of the property manager to figure out a solution and they are asleep in their apt above the office when it's supposed to be open. They won't answer the business phone number, and now I'm stuck in limbo. Going to have to go buy bolt cutters and a new lock just to get into my unit today. This is my last month at this facility even if I have to pay extra to leave. DONT RENT HERE ... Read more

A great place to store your items when necessary. We recently relocated here from out of state and Erica helped make this part of the transition go so smoothly! She has been above and beyond helpful on several occasions; even in regards to another storage space here in town. She is always upbeat and has just a great infectious laugh! Thank you Erica for helping make our lives a little simpler!! LaVonne BarkerLaflamme ... Read more

Great Property. Easy to get in and out, clean and well maintained. Erica was great! When I first arrived at the property, I was unsure where my unit was located and she came out of the office unprompted to assist. I have rented storage units Coast to Coast, some PS, other big box stores and Mom&Pop type places. She has a great demeanor in person and on the phone. So thumbs up to the property and Erica! Thx you guys! ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Public Storage - 4875 South McCarran Blvd include the following amenities: Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Credit Cards Accepted, Elevators, First Floor Access, Multi-Level Storage and Online Payment. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 30 to 150 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Public Storage - 4875 South McCarran Blvd start from $52 and can go up to $219 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
