Spacious units. The only reason this storage unit was given 5 stars is because I was not granted the opportunity to waive insurance even though the representative told me I had this option upon booking. Otherwise, a solid, reputable storage unit. ... Read more

Tyler was extremely helpful from start to finish. He took the time to walk us through different options, made sure we had the perfect room, and even helped us plan out extra storage so everything would fit comfortably. He listened to what we needed, answered every question, and made the process super easy. We really appreciate how patient and knowledgeable he was — it made the whole experience stress-free. If you need someone who actually cares and goes the extra mile, Tyler is definitely the one to ask for. Thanks again, Tyler! ... Read more

We have been customers of this storage facility since its opening, and for a long time, the service was excellent—the staff was consistently polite and highly accommodating to our business's needs. Unfortunately, following recent management changes, we have observed a marked decline in the facility's operations and customer experience. Several significant issues contributed to our decision to terminate our long-standing contract: Operational and Facility Concerns Facility Cleanliness: The general upkeep of the facility has deteriorated, most notably in high-traffic areas such as the elevators. Climate Control: The "air-cooled" units have become excessively warm due to increased thermostat settings, which is a major concern for clients storing sensitive items. Our requests for this issue to be addressed were met with no response. New Policies: New, highly restrictive signage has been posted, indicating a steep $350 fee for items left behind. While policies are necessary, this specific fee appears punitive and out of step with industry standards. Customer Service and Professional Conduct The most concerning change has been the precipitous drop in the standard of customer service. During a recent visit, the facility's alarm system was repeatedly triggered by patrons failing to enter their access codes. I observed the Facility Manager address the individuals involved in a raised and highly confrontational voice. Minutes later, I overheard the manager use highly unprofessional and profane language to refer to these customers. Later, while I was clearly in the process of moving heavy boxes, the same manager stopped me and aggressively questioned whether I had entered my access code, despite my unit's alarm not having been triggered. This hostile and unwarranted approach created a very uncomfortable experience. Conclusion The combination of unresolved climate control issues, a noticeable decline in facility maintenance, and this profoundly unprofessional and aggressive customer interaction left us with no choice but to remove our property and relocate to another facility. It is truly regrettable, as we initially valued our long tenure here and the convenient location. However, we cannot in good conscience continue to entrust our business property to a facility with such a compromised level of management and service. ... Read more

Finding a great storage facility can be a hassle, but I had an amazing experience at the One Storage on Losee Rd and Centennial. The location is incredibly convenient, which was the main reason I chose it, but it was the service that truly made the difference. Bernice, was absolutely fantastic. She was so friendly and professional as she guided me through the contract process. She made sure I understood everything and was patient with all my questions. Her positive attitude and efficient handling of my new contract made the whole process smooth and stress-free. Thanks to Bernice, I feel confident that I made the right choice, and I highly recommend this location ... Read more

OMG. Traci (manager) is so great! I called out of state and she was willing to hold a unit for me. She explained everything, signing contracts and such done in 30 minutes, including showing me the unit. She even had my six while pulling in a large pickup ensuring it would fit before I committed. New facility, clean and modern. Go for it! ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Extra Space Storage - 6470 Losee Road include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, 24 hour access, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Parking, Enclosed, Elevators, Multi-Level Storage, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 200 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Extra Space Storage - 6470 Losee Road start from $27 and can go up to $248 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
