I recently changed to this storage from my previous one after they decided to raise their rates way too much and definitely recommend here for anyone who needs a storage unit. The price is super affordable and Michael is awesome with outstanding customer service. My boyfriend has been using this storage for 8+ years and I came here on his recommmendation which I'm happy I did. :) ... Read more

I love this family owned rancho mini storage. They have had this business for years and raised their family here in vegas.. They are fair and don't keep raising there fees every couple of months like all the corporate storage units do. The facility is clean and kept up. The only thing. I wish they would stay open a little later.? ... Read more

So far so good...they are pretty nice people overall they didn't have anything downstairs big enough but they were able to get me 2 smaller units pretty close downstairs so I'm happy they have a dog so that's a plus for me and seems they actually care about the customers and stay on site oh the best thing tho they provide flatbed dollies to shuttle your stuff in. Very nice touch made everything easier. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Rancho Mini-Storage - 1661 North Rancho Drive include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Truck Rentals, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Multi-Level Storage and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
