These people & this company are snakes.. they have so many foolish rules & make up policy about ur belongings & ur money my. For example 30 u have 30min after that it's a violation in n company policy, if ur door isn't completely open to Violation, if ur taking a break and sitting down, Violation, cleaning out or going through ur belongings guess what a Violation..once uv pissed them off with violation they secretly decided ur out with a note on ur units door. Forget about refund there keeping ur money & putting a note on ur door saying u have 2 days to get out along with removing ur lock & putting there's on. If u don't come in 2 days they e completely erasse. I'm not even talking about ho we they jack up prices & adding fees insurance all shit u don't need it want. There Company Slogan is " We Treat Ur Stuff Like Our Stuff" it's because ur stuff is gonna be there stuff .... Don't believe me go see 4ur self ... Read more

I had my belongings here and had to relocate back to California. However, things took a turn for the worse. I became homeless for nine months, with my son living in our car. Unable to pay my storage bill, all my belongings were auctioned off. I tried calling to inquire if the buyer had left any of our sentimental items, but I suspect that since I couldn’t pay, I won’t even receive my son’s photos and sentimental items. Despite these hardships, everything made me realize that when life throws unexpected challenges our way and people take advantage of our vulnerability, there’s something far greater than material possessions waiting for us. So, I decided to let go. I came to accept the things I couldn’t change and, in return, was granted the serenity to move on. The losses I endured are nothing compared to what some people have lost so much more. While it’s unfortunate that the world can be so cruel, it builds character and strength in those who endure such hardships. I left voicemails, but I haven’t received a call back. So, I suppose I’ll wait for the collections agency to respond. Mastering the art of letting go is essential for personal growth. ????……???? ... Read more

Do not go here worst place ever will not work with you if you are needing to get in past the hour of 6 PM. My home recently Had a fire and everything, and it was destroyed, except for a few things that I was able to salvage, I’m a Working single mom and I had no time to get this done and found this storage without doing any research Since I needed my stuff out of there within a day and when going to bring the stuff back in my rented truck getting there a few minutes after six they said they couldn’t do anything to help me even though there’s an after hours number. You’re better off throwing your stuff in the trash, then getting a storage unit from here ... Read more

Sandra was amazingly helpful and really deserves 10 stars. I'm in my mid-80's and arrived late in the day from out of town with a load of household items I needed to store and found I was at the wrong storage place. She helped me get everything straightened out and stayed late with me to do it. Way above and beyond what I would have normally expected but boy did I appreciate her caring and her assistance. I give Sandra ten stars and Public Storage five stars for hiring someone so adept at her job and so caring and helpful! ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Public Storage - 5050 West Charleston Blvd include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, Elevators, First Floor Access, Multi-Level Storage, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 300 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Public Storage - 5050 West Charleston Blvd start from $31 and can go up to $254 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
