The move went as smooth as it could go, but with the help from Lucy and Parnell we got it done! It was confusing trying to figure out where to go since our building was under construction, but Parnell and Lucy showed us the way! Very much appreciated 3/7/26 I couldn’t write another review so I decided to add on. Todd and G were very helpful and accommodating with me only being at public storage for two weeks! They went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of and are very friendly people!! ... Read more

My husband and I have been storing our things here for over 2 years and have had a wonderful experience. We started with a 5x5 but recently decided to upgrade to a bigger unit. The staff is very helpful especially Gee and Lucy! Highly recommend. ... Read more

Exceptional customer service. Parnell (if you’re lucky enough to get him) is the role model for service in the public storage domain. I can’t imagine a better tour of the facilities. It made me wanna rent an extra unit just out of appreciation. I’m SO glad I changed my storage facility to this location/company. Please give Parnell a raise. ... Read more

Thank you very kindly for your team's wonderful help in finding the perfect spot for me to move into in the brand new B building. As a disabled Senior Lady, I can't say enough to praise your team of caring people at your Summerlin location. Gee is a topnotch professional ... just "AMAZING" as her fellow employees describe her! I thank you all, very kindly: Gee Lucy Diecy Todd (Cheryl ... at whatever Public Storage facility you're now working ????) First time renting from public storage. They were finishing a new building so I reserved my storage for a day later. Gee and Sandra were so helpful when I came back. They transferred my unit to the new building as promised. The location was very convenient and I was the first unit booked in the new building! Look no further this is your place. Very clean also! ... Read more

Not only was the storage unit clean, secure, and easy to access, but Gee at the front desk made the entire experience exceptional. When there was some confusion around my move-out date, Gee handled it with kindness and professionalism, resolving everything quickly and even processing a refund. I’m so used to having to advocate hard for myself in situations like this, but Gee made it effortless. Truly the best customer service I’ve experienced! ... Read more

In the process of leaving Las Vegas. Needed a safe low cost space to store my things in the meantime. Building kind of hidden behind commercial buildings which I find to be a plus. You get rate specials in secure enclosed space. No rodents or insects. ... Read more

The online renting process was easy and the facility is nice and clean. However, trying to talk to a human at the location of on the phone with customer service was unnecessarily difficult. We arrived at the facility and didn't see the property manager in the office. We were able to get into the facility with our access code but didn't know that we should rip off the plastic seal to open our storage unit to get the lock inside. We had to call to get that information. When we needed to upgrade our unit to a larger one, the customer service person was not well informed and in a position to help. I had to walk around to find a prepped and available unit to confirm whether we could switch our reservation to the one. When we came back with an appointment, the property manager took care of the lock refunds and we had a pleasant experience resolving the issues. I loved using the app to open the gate and doors. The facility feels secure as well. When things go well, this is fantastic. But when you need help, it's really tough. ... Read more

During my tenancy at Public Storage, I at first didn't have any problems—the facility was secure with good locks and in a good location. Although it was a new building, though, it became apparent in no time that the property was in deplorable condition. Multiple times, I was prevented from reaching my third-story unit due to malfunctioning elevators. This was not only a recurring situation but was truly frustrating in getting to retrieve my property. And to make matters worse, the cargo-door exit was in constant malfunction, requiring me to backup and go out through another route—an inconvenience in itself. Due to elevator breakdown, I was forced to switch to a flat on the first floor at extra cost in order to have reliable access to my own storage space. Instead of having me make a proper transition, I was requested to move all that on that specific day. Having no working elevators to transport all of my stuff three floors down was not only physically taxing but completely inexcusable. This experience was completely infuriating and showcased pure indifference to clientele. A warehouse has to have easy access to things that have been put in it, and that warehouse fell far from that goal. ... Read more

Julie is the the sweetest rep... EVER!!! She was a new hire & her supervisor was very encouraging to Julie's inquiries. They also helped me get a great price, by checking both online & in-house promotions/deals. It's safe, clean & a great price. P.S. I relocated a year ago from a Condo w/garage storage, to one without a garage. Basically turning my 2nd bedroom into a storage space... I hated this but didn't think I could handle the cost of a storage unit. "Public Storage" showed me otherwise and it's only 3/4 of a mile away from my Condo... PERFECT!!!! Highly recommend :) ... So I lost my keys to my unit, and Julie L. Was unbelievably helpful n she was so kind and patient in helping me. Didn’t get annoyed or impatient even with my million questions and requests. I’m genuinely grateful because I’ve had such horrible experiences in the past with other companies. I got my key, I got my access, and now I’m excited to see her every time I come to my unit. Seriously good hire Public Storage. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Public Storage - 1561 Desert Crossing Court include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Keyless Unit Access, Elevators, First Floor Access, Multi-Level Storage, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 200 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Public Storage - 1561 Desert Crossing Court start from $13 and can go up to $137 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
